Perhaps this whole situation is nothing more than rival gangs putting out hits on their arch enemies?

You know, not many people would know what to do with 13 severed feet.
We took it and turned it into an hour long conversation.
I'm not sure if that actually qualifies as an accomplishment under the technical definition, but that is taking a frown and turning it upside down.
No but we don't want to be too hot footed about it either. Haste makes waste!
Anyway, my feet are as hot as the rest of me.
All they need is DNA samples, a foot injury, manicure,etc. Eventually a missing person could be cross matched. Then that would start the investigation and has Watson would say, "The hounds are a foot"..
