I wasn't referring to the link I was referring to the regression. You two can now go back to your little bubble:smile:

Thanks

So Breezy you going to retract your statement or pretend you didn't say it?

Really, have I ever insinuated she hit her kids. Or have I insinuated you hit your kids. hmmmmmmmmmm nope.

You have been disrespectful many times. She takes it and takes it until she blows up.
If you dish it out you need to learn to take it.

Be a man and say your sorry and I bet she will apologize to you.

Let me clarify my comment: IF one is prepared to beat the crap out of another individual for doing something bad..... it is not a stretch to consider that this same person would use violence in other situations.

Never did I say , that someone actually beat his kids. Heck......I don't even know if he/she has kids.

If my comment offended someone ....then I apologize.

Now.....back on topic at hand.........as it is rather radioactive as it is.

I suspect so too. Wonder if we are going to see more dirt come out about him ...either from his work or more domestic issues.

Of course, I can't prove it.......but I DO suspect that this is not his first angry outburst at the child. Kids with disabilities can enrage their parents in ways it is hard to comprehend There is the "why us " factor. Why MY child ?? there is that guilt that can come.......even if it is not warranted about the condition. Guilt that they feel the child is a burden by virtue of a disability. And even resentment that the child is not "normal"....

Makes one wonder if they have had any kind of therapy / help to cope with this situation.

retired : I think you should do the gentleman thing and explain your thumbs down for this post. I have worked in the mental health field and know how parents feel and how they try to cope with challenging problems. Many with short fuses , do what this judge did.....but on a regular basis. And almost always.........there is a history of abuse there. It is seldom a one off situation and particularly when the partner is involved as it appears to be in the video. and it usually takes someone reporting the conduct to the authorities , be it police or health before the situation is dealt with.

So I think you should make your position clear with valid facts. ..indicating with points where your opine differs.

The post comes across as if this is what ALL parents that have kids with disabilities are like, with the added insinuation that they would be more prone to abuse their kids because of it. I would venture to say that that is why RCS gave you the thumbs down.

Misinterpretation is easy when your not face to face and seeing each others facial expressions.

Then I guess that puts more onus on the writer to ensure that they are clear and concise in what they post.

Are you in a competition to prove how stupid you can be?
I'd say you're winning.

You REALLY don't get it ,do you?? When one is prone to react with violence against another person;........then one is likely to be prone to use violence in other situations.......as it indicates a short fuse and a propensity for violence.

We see lots of verbal violence here against other posters. If folks were as enthused about the topics and discussing them as they are about ranting against other posters, this could be a terrific forum.

Not sure how anyone's intelligence is the topic here..........so why are you embarrassing yourself with such judgemental comments??

Misinterpretation is easy when your not face to face and seeing each others facial expressions.

Of course he misinterpreted it. He WANTS to put the slant he chooses on it as it suits his bias against said poster.

that is why he is on ignore. He is far too prejudicial for a constructive conversation. Retired is in his company

they are part of that gang mentality that exists on here. Another one has entered their group as all she can enter here is something about OB being stupid.

It sure does not take long for a thread to go downhill. Maybe a few of the reactionary types should go on tranquilizers before they post here.

Just sayin.

Still, sometimes the reader should double check to make sure the true meaning before throwing down the gloves and head into a full out pissing match.

It should be a little bit of both.
Do you agree?

way to go. Enters RCS and all significant conversation ends

That post will not be reported by me. It is just a sample of the kind of mind that exists behind those words.

NO ONE SAID YOU BEAT YOUR KIDS. IF YOU HAVE ANY.

but given your bullistic over reaction to what you percieve as an insult , one might wonder about how prone you are to using your fists rather than conversation..

No matter what she was doing on the internet........it does not require that kind of overtly hostile , overly aggressive physical beating.

NOTHING does. Is he trying to beat her into submission and passive obedience?? Because what he (with his wife as accomplice) is doing is NOT punishment.

Wonder what he has in mind for the daughter that posted the video. and exposed him.....with more repercussions to come.

No, it's just one more example of how "unclear" she is when she posts. The 2 of you are like 2 peas in a pod.

IF my posts are so unclear ( interpreted to mean hard to understand) why do you bother reading them?? IF you find them so challenging........just ignore them. No hard feelings. For that matter put me on your ignore list . again: no hard feelings......just your garden variety forum stuff.

Here is your exact quote:

Oh sure.......and then TWO angry men will have committed crimes.

Seems that someone who would beat another person, would probably beat rebellious children. as that is what they see as a solution to these issues.

IF using the internet calls for a belt- whipping.........wonder what he does with real rebellious behavior ..

........and this bozo is a judge????..Would hate to see how he conducts his court rooms.

I think the underlined clarifies the insinuation.

If my comment offended someone ....then I apologize.

Offended. I'm not offended Oceanbreeze. I don't beat my kids. But I'll take your halfhearted apology and put it to rest.

I have yet to have a thumbs down from either you or Angstrom explained to me nor have I ever asked.

So I think you should make your position clear with valid facts. ..indicating with points where your opine differs.

Generally I have made my opinion on this matter very clear. This was abuse. The abusers were the father and mother. Viscerally I would like to take a round out of anyone who would use a belt on a child, you chose to focus on that single point and make something else out of it. As I said, I will take your half hearted apology and leave it at that.

I think all he was saying is, that if your more careful of how you phrase things less people would attack you. He was saying it about me too. He's trying to help us in his own special way.
