91% owned by CPost. Union drivers? Oh my? How do they compete?
UPS owns the other 9%? Wouldn't shock me.
I thought it was Gerry whats-his-face from Toronto, Heather Reisman's husband, who owned the rest, but I could be mistaken.

When I've accomplished my goals I hope to someday be able to avoid all this paper and sample shuffle and say soyonara to the postman and couriers once and for good but in the meantime I'm going to use the system that works the best for the least amount of money.
Onex?
Digging around I learned that Canada is partial owners in some interesting companies. For instance CBC owns 40% of what we all perceive to be the privately-owned the Sirrius Satellite Radio business in Canada.
Fabian socialism is cool when your Consrvative Govt. is hush hush about it.
Rottweiler Local No 333?Dogs were away ahead of humans despising postmen, especially unionized ones.
Ooops, aren't all of them unionized?
Rottweiler Local No 333?
Too funny. Purolator just showed up. Now I'm free until 4:30 when UPS finally makes their way round.
Have you ever had them show up at the same time? Talk about uncomfortable. It's like having hubby get back from work before your boyfriend is done.

All are usually consistant except for DHL. They'll show up anywhere between 8AM and 6:30PM.Here at the office, we often have more than one courier arrive at the same time, but they pretty much all know each other, and they're all nice people...the Purolator guy has been on this route since 1987.

Not to be personally intrusive, but do you speak based on personal experience, karrie?

same here. if they are similar routes, they are probably friends from meeting so often
Oh for pete's sake, of course not.... hubby always knows when my boyfriend's here.
lol... it was a joke hey? never mind.
Thanks YukonJack, I try. Also, just FYI, I could care less how often we disagree about politics, religion, etc. I show up for discussion, and don't begrudge people for giving me what I ask for.
Manufacturing jobs, due to unrealistic demands by unions, have been outsourced to China and India and elsewhere. The Postal service should be outsourced to oblivion.
At the risk of being called a copy cat, let me say that I also try. Doing so, I offend some, encourage and boost more. Politics or otherwise.
Is it not what public forums supposed to be all about?
Too bad, there are far too many of those who have NO sense of humour.
And just as an opinion, I think that if there were more people with a sense of humour, there would be fewer bannings from this forum.
Let me say that I agree completely with you.
I only wish that you had a better sense of humour, you take offense very easily.
