We just print our own money now.

As they say, if people don't start sh!t there won't be any sh!t. But people just keep starting it. We keep remodeling their countries in rustic stone age and dead.
Shouldn't the taxpayers get clued into how much they owe compared to how much they have gained, let alone the ones just entering the workforce and they get a look at how much was spent and what was gained. (military spending, cold war $5T, return $0 and it actually increased the hole dept . Affluent Nations have little debt and a narrow gap between. Most nations don't take checks that bounce for very long. You can print only till the Rothschild interest payments surpass your worth.

With a confession like that it is likely to increase the reluctance to do business with America, good luck in paying your Master Card with your Visa, to the tune of $1T / year.

So far this FY (as of 30April2011), the Treasury Department spent $244 Billion of your money on interest payments to the holders of the National Debt.

Federal Budget Spending, Deficits, and the National Debt

@ the 2:20 mark he forgot to give credit to God being the landowner and the whole Neb thing when God kicked them out, forcefully.

Oh....except for the following.... :)

An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly and made the world community smile.
A representative from Israel began: ‘Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses: When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, ‘What a good opportunity to have a bath!’
Moses removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them!
The Palestinian representative at the UN jumped up furiously and shouted, ‘What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren’t there then.’
The Israeli representative smiled and said, ‘And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech..

Over the years I have accused Republicans of never being consistent in the application of their so called principles and this thread again proves my point. I have always said that in order for a set of principles to be valid they must be applied on a uniform basis. There must never be any double standards. The Republicans (and their wannabe pals) repeatedly assert that they are the champions of democratization and integration both at home and abroad. If their ideas and actions were as valid as they claim them to be, they would have no choice but to apply them in Israel-Palestine by demanding a one state solution. Their failure to do so invalidates their claims because their policies are based on expediency, not principle. Thank you for again proving that in your heart you know that what I wrote is the truth.
When are you leaving the States?

I'm very withdrawn from this conflict, so all apologies if I make any ignorant statements.
There's no excuse for ignorance.

But the way I look at it is that whenever you have two powers in conflict, it is always the greater power that should bear the greater burden or make more concessions.
Nice opinion.

The reason for this is that the greater power truly has more control over whether or not there can be peace in the region.
Or Hamas could stop, and if Israel is the real bad guy, there would be no confusion.
The 1967 Palestinian exodus refers to the flight of around 280,000 to 325,000 Palestinians[1] out of the territories because their local leaders warned them to leave this land and they may come back after the war.
So they should talk to those leaders that told them to leave.

So, in this case, it seems that this land was taken over unfairly and duly caused further disruption and conflict. When a state with greater power uses that power irresponsibly (as in the case above), they're just causing more trouble for themselves and everyone else.
And of course, it's all Israel's fault.

Here's something new I came across.. Wow..
Wow is right, he makes up stuff like you and the Toronto Star.

He was referring to the statement made by the Israeli leader, assuming that Israelis had a right to that land because of a presence they had 2500 years ago. I'm sure the commentator realizes there were more recent endeavors, but the call to David and Goliath for instance, was pure nonsense. And it was pretty silly to watch Americans cheer on the Israeli PM when he stated that.

No one cares moron, that's not even relevant.
If you think that's important maybe we should leave north america and give it back to the natives.

To all of it?
To a great deal of it.

You live on land that was once someone elses. Many natives believe by hook or crook, you now live on it.

Are you willing to give it up?

Good idea. But by the tone of your post, I'd say you don't think you should actually leave.

That makes you a hypocrite.

I'm saying to justify Izrael's right to exist because some jews lived there in ancient times is not a very strong argument... In more modern times it was occupied by arabs (palestinians) and the jews forcibly removed them from their homeland.

Well, it's pretty difficult now since we're all so entrenched.

I think it's more important to ensure that most people are now satisfied with status quo. I'm not sure how many Natives are making a call for their land to be given back to them, but it does not seem to be at the point where there is a militant conflict between us and them like Israelis and Palestinians.

Of course we used our technological advantage to snuff them out quite early and that is sad and unfortunate.

Yet again, reading comprehension problems.....

I was addressing the gentleman's claim that there was no evidence of a Jewish presence.

No, I think what we won through conquest we should keep.

Chew on that.

Oh, and be nice. :)

Kiss kiss.

There were Jews there, before Israel was created.

There were no Europeans here.

Israel has a stronger claim to Israel, than you do to Canada.

Are you willing to leave Canada?

I don't think it's that simple.

There are a number of factors -

The societal development of both parties.
The evolution of the global humanitarian concern.
The history of conflict between both parties.
The recency of that conflict.

I don't think you can just compare Palestinans to Natives and say - "go".
