Northern Ontario,
I'd wager there are at least as many rednecks driving up a snow covered hill in a motorized bar stool.

I don't think stupid acts that result in injury are a class or wealth issue...

Why don't you ask Cranky?? seems like he has all the answers....without explanations;-)

Having completed the morning walk and now being of clearer mind and having mulled that suggestion......................I think it's a great idea............in theory and should be implemented....................just as soon as we can get a list of "acts of stupidity". One problem I see is it is often the people in control (wealthy) who commit a lot of these acts. Stuff like getting drunk on a cruise ship and falling over the side or wiping out in their Lamborgini, crusing though the Rocky Mountains.
I already have Blue Cross, private insurance. On top of my OHIP. Although I can't afford a Lamborghini. I'm sure people who live dangerously, can pay their own way.

It's nice that you can admit that.

Awesome...

I'm an undecided voter, the last time I voted, I voted Green. But that was a waste.

So what are the threats to our health care system by the Conservatives.

appearantly, CDNBear, there has only been an imaginary objection to what I wrote,

so is this a new objection? if so how is it more reasonable than my assertion?

if this is not a new objection, is this just you admiting no knowledge about something that you aren't objecting to?

Why don't you ask Cranky?? seems like he has all the answers....without explanations;-)

oh I dont mind providing explanaitions to reasonable objections. in this case, the only objection was only 'imaginary' so its a darned good thing I didn't offer an explanation :)

Holy Fu ck. Can you not answer a question directly? I can only gleen one thing from your continued bobbing and weaving. You really don't have a fu cking clue what you are talking about definitely don't like being called on it.

You haven't proven there was an original objection.

You have merely claimed that there was one, so you could avoid answering my question.

That's called a red herring.

So the answer to my question is, you can't, answer it.

By linear logic, you would have already, to silence me and the other protestations being levied at you. Thus vindicating your position.

Seems like a reasonable deduction.

wow at first you talk about me not supporting my assertions, but - now that we've established that there were no reasonable objections - you have conveniently shifted to calling it 'a question'

you remind me of card game my friends and I play with new friends, where we change the rules to make sure the new guy has to drink.

bob and weave..... bob and weave.

one more chance before you are thrown on the pile of trolls.

you have stated that the cons are a threat to Canada's Health care system. Back up that statement with the reasons WHY they are a threat.

provide me with an objection that is more reasonable than my assertion then you will have acomplished something that CDNBear has not done.

There's an objection in there? There's no objection, there's a request for back up on an assertion. Are you not able to back up your assertions?

No he isn't, hence the song and dance.

You have to love it when you see them dance when they get cornered by their own shiza.

I guess that would indicate you are unfamiliar with the meaning of a question mark.

You remind me of so many ideologues that have come before you, that spout off, but can not for the life of them, support their claims. Instead, using all manner of fallacy, to avoid actually providing any form of evidence.

But please, feel free to actually show me my objection, to your comment, on the Conservative threat to health care.

thats called " Argumentum Ad-hominem" ie you would rather 'shoot the messenger' than explain to me why your objection is more reasonable than my assertions. In fact, you would rather deny that there was ever any objection, yet, if there was no objection, then how can my assertion stand as challenged and beaten,eh? Your arguement today has a lot to be desired.

I haven't presented an argument. I asked a question.

One you just can't answer.

how can I be cornered in my own shiza, if you haven't stated an objection?

well, i've been asking questions of you too, and you aren't answering them. questions like: what is your objection, and why is it reasonable?

It was your assertion, I asked a question. You failed to answer, this leads me to believe that you don't have an answer.

what is you objection, and why is it reasonable?
Why is it so hard for you to grasp the difference between a question and an objection?

I understand it completely, a question is just a question. If your question is just a question, its worthless and meaningless.

Are you sure you don't have any objections?

Well, it's good to know that, so can you actually answer it now?

If your question is just a question, its worthless and meaningless.
Perhaps, but we'll never know, unless you answer it.

Are you sure you don't have any objections?
Yep, just genuinely interested in what the threat is to our national health care.

I figured anyone as sure as you were, would simply answer the question, unless you're a thought cop, reading between the lines, and assuming what my intent is. Or even worse, parroting talking points, without knowing what you're actually saying.

Because that would just be plain silly.

This forum is a form of Social Media. Social Media loves transparancy. You can't be transparant with your objections, so lets move on.
