The Quran says that Jews are people of the Book who should be treated with respect. The Quran also says that its ok to kill Jews. Or do you prefer Juice? Or do you prefer Joos?:) It's funny how Allah contradicts herself on so many occasions.:)

Of course as you mentioned she is a typical women. :)

All Muslims know that's not true and in fact they would consider your statement blasphemous. I'd correct you, but since you believe you know everything, why bother?

No, the hate literature known as the Koran was written by the pedophile and war monger Mohammed.

Another know it all who is wrong. The Prophet Mohamed was illiterate and couldn't even spell his own name.

gee Colpy if you are wrong about this, is it possible some of your other opinions might be just as ignorant and incorrect???

"...Muslims believe that the Qur’an was repeatedly revealed from Allah to Muhammad verbally through the angel Jibrīl (Gabriel) over a period of approximately twenty-three years, beginning in 610 CE, when he was forty, and concluding in 632 CE, the year of his death...."
Qur'an - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In other words the goddess Allah dictated the manuscript to her agent who in turn had it transcribed by the scrivener and Profit Mohammed.

I have a right to blaspheme, and Muslims must learn to live with my free speech. It's part of the price they pay for living in the West. The louder the protest, the greater the blasphemy will be.

Btw, I don't know everything. Rather, I relish the opportunity to fight.

...Prophet Mohamed...

Profit Mohammed. Get with the program.:)

Well, the Baptists have recently used a number of modern versions.....but I see what you are getting at, and you are right. We used the standard King James version for centuries.

What's your point?

That certainly doesn't make Baptists Catholic.

Baptists, for one thing, were actually allowed to READ it.

close enough.

Yes according to Muslim believers, the word of God was revealed verbally to the Prophet Mohammad by the angel Jibrīl (Gabriel), who then repeated it to his followers some of whom were scribes and others were gifted memorizers. The process took most of the Prophet's life. Soon after the Prophet's death the various written and memorized suras (books/chapters) were compared and they were all identical... (so they claimed). The Suras were compiled into a single book called the Quran. The Quran has remained literally unchanged since then. If you compare any two Qurans, the Arabic is character for character identical.

I'm agnostic, but I read the Quran about 20 years ago. Its not really very radical or violent. You have to twist its meaning to make it sound threatening or scary. I don't understand Arabic, so the English translation seemed fairly rambling and incoherent to me. Obviously something is lost in the translation, but I got the idea of Islam and Muslim philosophy. IMO, the Quran is divinely inspired and deserving of respect, like other religious texts.. I understand that when read in Arabic the Quran sounds like poetry, which is probably deliberate, since Muslims are supposed to try to memorize it.

As a literary text the Quran's influence on Arabic is comparable to the influence Shakespeare's plays had on English.

The Pre-Hegira verses are beautiful and compassionate. But the post-Hegira verses read like the Old Testament. When the Profit Mohammed got to Medina the wheels came off the bus. He should have stayed in Makka and taken his medicine.

Sigh

Muslims believe the koran is the word of Allah, as revealed to Mohammed.........and released by him to the world.

That makes Mohammed the author..........unless you believe the Koran is the will of God and Mohammed is simply the middleman......

which would explain a lot, including your hatred of Jews.

You'll have to quote me where I said something negative about Jews or indicating hatred toward any ethnic or religious group.

I hate war criminals. I think that people who use children for human shields should be held accountable for their actions. Who ever decided to shell downtown Gaza with White Phosphorous and High Explosives is one sick puppy. Shooting at ambulances and hospitals are also war crimes. Forcing 1.5 million people to suffer disease and malnutrition is a crime against humanity.

You might defend these despicable acts and other war crimes, but I don't.

Frankly I could care less about a war criminal's religion. Charges of antisemitism based on anti-Israel opinions generally lack credibility and are a cynical ploy on the part of the Israeli apologists to shield the Zionist state from any criticism of its regular and consistent brutality against the Palestinians.

Did you listen to what he said?

He says the decision to impose a no fly zone on Libya is about oil.
That's pretty obvious.

He says the US and other nations looked the other way as Israel commits far worse atrocities against Palestinians than what Gadhafi has done to Libyans.
That true too.

He said that the US and other nations don't care about people, otherwise they'd have intervened in Rwanda.
I agree that altruistic claims by the US and the west are unlikely. The US and the West have decided to seize control of Libya out of self interest. I'm OK with that to a degree. Where it gets screwed up is when we try to impose some sort of pro-West government on the people rather than letting the people pick their own government. If we just help these people overthrow their dictator, and then step back and see what happens, there's a good chance we'll get some sort of democracy which represents the will of the people.

Farrakhan: Jews are pushing the US into war
jpost.com
03/02/2011
Excerpt:
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Jews and Zionists are "trying to push the US into war" and are a cover for Satan, at the group's annual meeting near Chicago on Tuesday.

President Obama," Farrakhan said, "if you allow the Zionists to push you, to mount a military offensive against Gaddafi and you go in and kill him and his sons as you did with Saddam Hussein and his sons, I’m warning you this is a Libyan problem, let the Libyans solve their problem among themselves.” Farrakhan called Muammar Gaddafi "my brother" and "my friend."

He also accused American Zionists of attempting to push Israel into war with Iran, adding that "Zionists dominate the government of the United States of America and her banking system."

One panel at the conference, titled "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews," claimed that Jews were disproportionately involved in the slave trade and accused them of controlling the media.

Farrakhan: Jews are pushing the US into war

Holy <censored> Louis Farrakhan shares the same brain as Dark Beaver because they both keep blaming DA Jews.. 8O

He seems to use the words 'Jew' and 'Zionist' quite interchangeably, making it difficult to really understand what the heck hes rambling on about.

He should have learnt a thing or two about his predecessor Malcolm X who eventually turned his back on the Nation of Islam. It says something when a previous leader of the Nation of Islam eventually abandoned its doctrines.

Yeah I listened to what he said and again I'll say what a ****ing Idiot he is and you need to stop drinking the Beav's Zionist Kool-Aid.

The United States didn't intervene in Rwanda because they were still waiting for the UN (Useless Nations) to get their act together and Bill Clinton was shell shocked after the Battle of Mogadishu (BlackHawk Down) disaster..

We are not trying to impose a pro west Government in Libya we are trying to stop Qaddafi from slaughtering his own people using Military assets. Frankly we should have been in there weeks ago, but now we're there partially involved in a civil war giving the Rebels a chance by imposing the no fly zone.

If any boots are to be put on the ground they need to be Libya's Arab neighbors since Gaddaffi has burned every bridge he had with them which he knows because he's alone fighting for his life not Libya..
