yeah, well I don't live on a reserve and there are literally hundreds of deer for every person in my area. So many deer that they are ruining crops. so many deer that the genius' in regina and ottawa though it would be a good plan to release freakin mountain lions in the area. so many deer that half of them are malnourished and look like they have dysentry.
I hunt deer. I don't buy a tag. Come and get me. I'll see you in court. good luck with that.
To suggest people have no biases is a major fallacy and contradiction to being human.
It's kind of ironic that people complain about Canadians being racist when politicaly correction is our religion and people often will keep opinions to themselves and we don't discriminate on employment like other countries. You will miss Canada and Canadians if you ever travel abroad. Instead of hearing something racist once a month - it will instead be once a hour out in public.
The worse kind of minority is not the visible one but the invisible one. Who had it worse under Nazi Germany? Black people or the Jews? I'm not Jewish but the expression people are attracted to themselves comes to mind. The "White" people in this country are British Isles (+ Irish) and French and; while they sometimes can not point out the ethnic differences, they can identify a different face no different than someone can identify an African man because he has dark skin.
To that end, a lot of people act pretty cold when I am around. And then; the ones who are openly racist and can spot the differences, would call me things like potato head, polack, bohunk, perogi muncher, et al.
At least being Metis / Native / Black, the Canadian Government will protect you and ensure you employment but being an "invisible minority" you would never understand the immense double-spaded raicsm we can encounter in our daily lives. The irony in that in one afternoon I can be called a "White Colonizer Racist" by an East Indian man upset that I shorten him 5 cents and than a "Potato Head" from an Anglo-Canadian the next five minutes does state a lot.
Don't pretend it's just something on the internet. I've seen this in the real world; even white Canadians, that people segregrate themselves.

I am completely color blind so am definitely not a racist.

Funny thing, the above isn't restricted to internet rants and I've heard this stuff before in the real world. I've worked as a cashier and you'ld be surprise how often people will go into racist rants about "cheap white people" just because I didn't add up the change completely.

Most don't even come here to become Canadian. They come here to screw with our housing markets and/or because we pay 10-20 times more than a job back in their ****hole of a country.
Our immigration laws are too lax and current immigrants have it easier than a slice of pie.
1880 (Austria; where some of my ancestors came from)
1. Say goodbye forever to fellow villagers. Extremely unlikely you will ever see them again
2. Legal paperwork to leave Austria, overland travel to an Atlantic Port in Germany
3. More legal paperwork
4. Take boat from Hamburg to Liverpool
5. 15 days across the Atlantic
6. Health inspection
7. Travel for days in the CPR
8. Weeks of overland travel on the Prairies and claiming a homestead
9. Paperwork
10. Clear farmland, build house; meanwhile, in -10 C Prairie Weather.
Fast Foward to 2011
1. Wear fake mask
2. Arrive in Canada after 19 hour flight and two in-flight meals (LOL)
3. File bogus refugee claim
4. Get free accomodation from Government of Canada
5. Affirmitive Action
6. Gain citizenship law after 3 years
7. Travel and see the relatives every summertime
8. Conquer Canadian City (i.e. Richmond) and replace all the signs with Chinese
9. Conquer Canada (*note, think long term)

im not racist buddy ive lived in surrey and spent enough time in richmond to know that being polite to people from other countries is a waste of time. Especially when they see me as the root of their problems. So pretty much i just have to say **** em.

People think I am a racist against everyone because I burn the Chinese. I have a Vietnamese Barber and a Sudanese Cashier at my local Starbucks and these indivdiuals never register on my radar.
It's the Chinese; much like the E. Indians, who piss me off all the time. I understand enough Cantonese linguo to know that Gweilo means Ghost and is a racial slur and they use it all the time thinking us "Dumb Gweilo" don't understand. Likewise, they come here ****ing with our real estate, they clearly don't care for Canada (look at the flags they were all waving in Richmond in 2010) and see as a giant wallet.
Ironically, I sometimes understand why the Chinese were given a Head Tax and that the Canadian Government allowed in more Japanese than Chinese people; at least until, the quotas were abolished.
Quotas aside, they are still third world people and would eat each other if they could. I guess until they figure out a method for that, they'll keep to eating babies.

It may be handed down from generation to generation, it may be fear of change/differences, it may be misdirected anger, it may be simply prejudice that is taken to an extreme level. Sometimes people hold onto the hate because it's all they know.
