Sarah - a bright, motivated woman....needs to take a break from herself and her desire for the spotlight

I honestly believe she was damaged in the election with John McCain and has never fully recovered - but continues to replay the old
"gotcha" game over and over with her ever growing band of critics.

For her own personal health and that of her family I wish she would take off about five years - get her youngest son raised up a bit more, get her youngest daughter stabilized a bit longer, and devote herself to her beautiful family.

That is enough for any woman - she has had enormous fame - but continues to believe she has more to "prove" when she is forgetting
her primary responsibilities - not to the people of the U.S., but to her family who have been dragged through this mess with her - not by choice.

Yep, we have a proportional amount of loonie tunes up here, when I said half a dozen I was thinking of homocidal nut bars. Actually there is very little difference between the two countries- they are just a little more vocal, but then again it's the silent types who are often the most dangerous.

Exactly, it is the ones we don't hear about that do the most damage. :)

I'd like to see Palin, and her "reload" remarks permanently kicked to the curb. Her language is laden with shooting references, and her campaign is laden with shooting graphics. She may think it's appropriate or funny, but she is responsible for what she promotes ... time for her to step up and admit that it was inappropriate. End of story. If she's not prepared to say at least that much, then kick her to the curb. There are plenty of other American Mom Bimbos that the Republicans can sell to the public - hopefully they'll find one that knows the difference between North and South Korea in the future.

I don't think she's any bimbo- just well steeped in her environment- a gun in her hands probably feels like a purse in the average woman from the lower 48's hands.

I think she should take the advice offered by Barbara Bush, and stay where she is, purse and all.

Well, that's what her staff says. Of course, threats have been made against Dems but that doesn't concern the right wing, does it? A number of very serious threats were made in Maryland against pols there by the anti-government right wing so what does that tell you?

It says that The Right Wing's Anger, Hate, Hypocrisy and Rhetoric has no limits.

I've seen the vid of her shooting so I'd be inclined to disagree, lol.

Sarah seems to like the gun so much that she uses cross hairs to publicly identify her opponents. She tells people to "reload" and "take a stand". When someone, regardless of who that person is, puts her opponent in the crosshairs, takes a stand, and tries to reload, in ways that are similar to what Sarah advocates, then she needs to be kicked to the curb ... her daughter too.

In product design, there's something called legal liability. This is where the designer has to consider, envision, imagine all the possible ways that a product could be mis-used. Public officials have that same responsibilities. That is, they have a responsibility connected with legal liability to ensure that their words and graphics are not misinterpretted resulting in death.

Sarah Palin is a stupid, attention diva, who, given the astute political senses of the majority of Americans, will probably be the next President of the USA.

Absolutely; anyone who believes that she "really didn't mean it" is a walking personification of delusion. She's a dangerous lady.............using the term in its most loose descriptive form.

Hmm. Let's look at this press release:

OTTAWA – The Liberal Party of Canada announced today that it will not support Bill C-49, which masquerades as human smuggling legislation but fails to adequately target human smugglers and instead punishes legitimate refugees.

So, do we all agree that the Liberal Party of Canada is encouraging people to shoot and kill human smugglers?

I guess they're not better than Sarah Palin.

Perhaps we are getting a little "off topic" from this ridiculous thread.

The trouble with Sarah

I believe she hit the popularity stage far too quickly with the American people who are searching frantically for a voice. She is unschooled in national and international politics other than within her own state and has had little opportunity to be tutored before
she hit the "big time".

It is unfair to judge her as she has lost control of the team of horses or whatever propels her forward now and my suggestion that she
take time to back away and find some role models to study and some coaches to show her the most effective methods of communicating with a large audience without bringing in the "colloquial" of guns and wild critters....

I think she is basically a good person who has taken off far too much and gained notoriety far too quickly - the people in the U.S. were
desperate for a different outlook, a fresh voice, an inspiring point of view - all of which she had but it has escalated beyond what a good
politician learns quickly: temperance (if you are to please the largest number of voters).

I would love to see her return refreshed, more relaxed, more learned and schooled in the lower 48 methods of politics while still keeping
her passion for the people she wishes to serve.
