I have to say, that all of you are very talented. DurkaDurka.....Wow!!!! Your
stuff is amazing!

I'm still a point&shoot/law of averages type photographer, & I use the term
photographer very loosely. If I have a "keeper" more often that 1 out'a 10,
then I'm doing well.

I have two pic's that I've taken that I really like, and they're almost a surprise
when I downloaded them that they turned out like they did.



and:



No filters, no enhancements, no real knowledge of the camera's beyond the
location of the power button, flash, & that's about it.

In the olden days, a professional photographer was lucky to get three good shots on a roll of 36. 1/10 is good

raw, the best way to describe it, no need for alteration in this situation

Thank you. I felt like a stalker walking along side this bird, snapping photos. It swam a little, climbed up and down snow drifts ... when I got home and realized how many photos I'd taken it was embarrassing.

Great day for a hike along the river ... no one was around.

I also took these ...





At first, I thought this was a single deer, but when I realized it was three (one adult and two young) I thought I better back off.



And the standard tourist shot ...

I got too close and realized with the way they looked at me that if I got any closer, I was a threat ... so I backed up. I would not have gone so close if I'd realized there were three. They went up the hill.





Bluejays stop in my Blue Spruce in the Spring and Fall, but they seem to thrive near the mountains.

Those are really nice pictures, Annika. However, I dislike windmills. I find them an eyesore and there are far too many of them clogging up the countryside(there are many to be found locally).

I like the second picture the most, especially with the little raindrops hitting the water.:)
