Re: 2010, another year of extreme coral bleaching

It would have to be vast to include 97% of the climatologists to be involved and btw climategate is not proof of fraud....it's not even a "gate".

You need to say that in order to preserve your belief in AGW and the "science" behind it. Face facts, there are only a few hardcore's left over that believe this trips.... It really reminds me of the mythical WWII Japanese soldier that was stranded on a desert island and never know that the war was over.

You'll like Satchie, he makes stuff up as well like the volcano in Iceland that blew it's top this past year produced more carbon than man in the last 10 years. The grounded planes probally produce more carbon....funny stuff though.

Makes stuff up, eh?

What was the volume of CO2 emissions produced from that eruption?

Sun Spots are the reason for the Earth warming and cooling. Not us. we aren't a pimple on an Elephant's ass when it comes to climate change.

So more sunspots =warmer? Is that what you think the data supports?

Other way around the spots block the radiation.

Solar radiation correlates with sun spots...the Maunder minimum was a time when few sunspots were produced over a 70 year period. This is right in the middle of the Little Ice Age.

I stand corrected.

No I don't, I need to say it because it's true.

I won't bother asking you the tough questions of fraud because you always avoid them.

Makes stuff up, eh?

Yep, you do it all the time.

You're a fun guy Avro. It's always amusing to witness you default to the position that anything that you can't explain, prove or support qualifies as a conspiracy.

You truthers really crack me up

What's the point in wasting my time... You know about all of the frauds, but in your eyes, it's justified because you want to believe that it is in the best interests of the common good, therefore, it isn't an actual fraud and pack 'o lies.

Yep, you do it all the time.

No one can come close to you in the fabrication department, case in point:

The little graph you posted; at the bottom left, there is the word "estimate" in reference to the volumes from the eruption and the volumes from the emissions from planes.

That's really some solid science that you truthers have in your corner.

You have yet to provide one example in your claim it happens monthly.

I have given up waiting for an answer because your accusations are baseless.

I know very well what is said Captain.

Between 150,000 and 300,000 tons per day.

If it's not a conspiracy what is it then?

Seems your buddy Satchie believes it is....in fact he admitted it.

It is you who fail on providing proof Captain.

I can see you are getting a little hysterical.

No need, this is just a friendly debate on AGW and no ill will is taken or given buddy.

Cheers.:canada:

Of course it's an estimate...how many volcanoes have measuring devices placed so that some day when the volcano erupts they can measure these things?

That's impractical.

And while we're on the subject of solid science, you seem confused. The volume of the gas emitted from a volcano is dependent on the temperature of the gas. Perhaps you can tell us, what's the volume of 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide?

Gases are compressible, and in a container will disperse until the molecules are dispersed somewhat homogeneously. Those 150,000 tons are now spread across the atmosphere.

Well? How do you clean it? Come on. Speak the truth. The only way to clean is kill the excess fish.

Proof of what Avro? The eco-truthers move the goal posts anytime that there is a suggestion made. But you keep plugging away on the conspiracy theories though, I very much enjoy a good chuckle.

Monthly now, is it?

There's that goal post thingy again.

An estimate is hardly an observation, let alone "scientific"

I agree that it is impractical and yet, that is of little interest to those that erroneously estimate figures to pursue an shaky agenda on AGW.

All of this is entirely without any merit as there is no basis for an accurate volumetric assessment.

No doubt Petros.

On an unrelated note, I heard this morning that the Sask agri community is behind the 8-ball in getting the crops off the fields (they spoke about canola)... I'm guessing things are pretty wet in your corner of the world.

I see you remember them well.

I lost my canola in June and replanted with lentils whic finished perfectly and are in the bin. I had absolutely amazing spring wheat and barley which I lost any profitable grade to frost a couple weeks a go.

Now that it is law to burn food in our vehicles we are going to see a 20% rise at the pumps. One of many scams sold as green and planet saving bankrolled with taxes and a negative influence in consumer costs.

Using foodstuffs to make fuel is one of the most ridiculous ideas I've ever seen; unfortunately, the US agribusiness makes a killing in this field, ADM in particular, and they seem to drive US agricultural policy.

I did benefit, having sold some mighty expensive equipment to the BioExx plant they just built out your way, though. Still think it's completely wrong headed, though.
