"if Nixon had been a Democrat, conservatives would have considered him to be one of the worst presidents (rather than one fo the best, as they consider him to be), for starting EPA alone."

And he would never have had the Clean Water Act passed.

Quite so, Nixon started the EPA. Environment to a conservative is like waving red flag to the bull, no doubt they would like to get rid of EPA completely. Conservatives haven't come across an environmental initiative they liked.

Indeed, if Nixon had been a Democrat, conservatives would have considered him to be one of the worst presidents (rather than one fo the best, as they consider him to be), for starting EPA alone.

Can you imagine a Republican president starting anything comparable to EPA today? It was easily Nixon's best achievement (and would have earned him the honor of being the worst president by the conservaitves, if he had been a Democrat).

Nixon and his corruption, back room dealings, would have fit in perfectly with today's democratic party, he would be a hero instead of a disgraced president..

"Why are Tea baggers white?"

They're not, and they aren't racist either...

After being interviewed as a guest on two radio programs back-to-back, I was angry and frustrated. I had to endure radio talk show hosts and callers who have never attended a tea party, tell me how racist the rallies are. Not only will this false accusation of racism not go away, it appears to be growing stronger.
Angry callers said they saw racist signs on TV and shared stories from black friends who claimed to have experienced racism at tea parties. I told one caller, "Ma'am, with all do respect, your friend is a liar." I am a black man who has attended well over 200 tea parties across America traveling on three Tea Party Express tours. I know the tone of the rallies and the types of people who attend them.

Well, we don't know yet who was involved in the bombing. The video footage they have is of a white suspect. So don't write off Tea Party just yet. It remains to be seen who was involved. But with a white suspect, it is more likely to be a domestic, white group, rather than Taliban or Al Qaeda.

Actually, the right wing was hoping it was al-Qaeda who planted the bomb.

And the libs wanted what...for it to be another American, preferably a member of the Tea Party. Oh well.

What is so wrong for a Tea Bagger being white? The initial question was ridiculous.

So instead of facing the opposition and answering questions they can just call them racist and marginalize them.

"I am against Health Care Reform"- Tea Party
"You're a racist" - Libs
"No I'm not"- Tea Party
"Most members of the Tea Party are white so you must be racist."-Libs

And so it goes...

And so it goes, even if there are non whites in the party they are still racist. The Libs can never win a argument thru logic, just random meaningless accusations.

JLM, it occured to me also, but I did not want create the impression that I missed him.

And it does not hurt to point out time and again the absurdity and the lies of the Original Post - even if it was expressed in the form of a question.

When 30%-40% of all posts posted are by the same poster, a person would have to be pretty dense not to notice when he's gone. Hope he's well.

He is probably in some far away land to beef up about their religion.

I also hope he's well and returns soon. We all need a good laugh.
