Is Obama the worst president ever?

I am well aware of how it works and I am well aware of how the Democrats use that spin.

People have become hopeful

or

People have lost hope.

The Dems used the "People have lost hope" spin when they tried to explain booming employment under Bush.

"Unemployment numbers are low because people have just lost hope and are no longer looking for work...that why the unemployment numbers are down"

Well hey...keep your fingers crossed. It might be a hot summer.

Let's review. National month job losses/gains has steadily went from about 750K lost in January 2009 to 100K+ job gains in March 2010, and the unemployment rate is down to 9.7% from a peak of 10.2%.

Every single one of these facts is partisan Democratic spin, of course.

Um, that couldn't be because workers are out of the system now because their unemployment ran out and they are surviving on odd jobs and savings, could it?

No, it's not because of that. The job gains in March 2010 was due to job gains in the sectors of manufacturing, services, health, and government.

The 9.7% unemployment rate is determined by a different Bureau of Labor Statistics survey, wherein BLS calls up a sample of US households and asks if the people in the households are employed, unemployed but looking for work, or unemployed and not looking for work. Apparently, there are more people in the US employed now than in Oct. 2009 when the peak was 10.2%.

So, are the Canadians also a miserable bunch, for electing Liberals to government again and again?

This thread is really not supposed to be about Canada. As you can see by another post that when ever a liberal goverment gets some power it turns out they cause some pretty racist situations where there were none. Now, I am talking about places in the U.S. ? Hmmm Liberal = Racism. Maybe

Oh there is no question that things are better than they were at their absolute worse which was last November. But it is still at 9.7% which is abysmal.

Basically you are saying... "Well at least it isn't 10.2% so be happy."

And what is the degree of error in that method of stats gathering?

I'm thinking that Porter is of the belief that liberals/democrats are all kindred spirits and that borders/nationalities are of no relevance in their struggle to fight the conservative movement.

Miguel de Cervantes developed a character in a book that fits.

As far as I know, there is no defined margin of error in BLS's household survey. If I had to guess why there is no such thing, it would be because the sample size is so large.

It's much larger than a public opinion poll like Gallup or Rasmussen, which at most may have a sample size of 2000 individuals. The BLS calls hundreds of thousands of US households every month.

If that's true, then I am duly impressed.

Quite a few Liberals are racist and they believe that throwing hush money at African American Communities disqualifies them from being racist. They do their best (and they are good at it) to keep them out of lilly white neighborhoods. Minorities are simply super to liberals providing they stay out of their neighborhoods. Even the lilly white community of Andover Ma put their police on the borders during Halloween to stop minority children from Lawrence and Lowell for coming to their neighborhoods for trick or treat. They would rather toss them a life raft than teach them how to swim.

A relative of mine, who while growing up used the N word at leisure. He is a liberal Democrat and voted for Obama so he feels that he is really not a racist regardless of what he calls them. He said Obama is a Good N***** and Republicans are just plain racist.
