I disagree. You need to win an election to be able to lead. In a democracy, if people say you are fit enough to lead, then you are. There really are no qualifications to be the PM.

I'm not here to revisit the history of political power in Canada, it's irrelevant. At one time I would have supported the LPoC. In fact had been of age under Pearson, I would have voted for him. But sadly, the LPoC isn't very liberal anymore, nor are they ethical. But then again, I haven't seen a politician in years that is.
