Your party did absolutely nothing about heath care costs when they were in power for 12 years. Now if you are saying there were no bankruptcies due to health care costs, put up a link, rather than just political propaganda.

I am unenrolled (or independent) for the 100th time. You are very slow and we all know that but surely you can remember that.

They did not want to touch Health Care because it is not very wise. So some people MAY have gone broke strictly on Health Care bills.

Now the WHOLE COUNTRY will go broke. (Except Nebraska)

The part of our health care system that the government controls (Medicare) is in shambles. Now the Democrats want to take care of the whole thing.

Let them vote for it. The Democrats have had control over both houses and the executive branch for quite some time and haven't done anything yet.

My son told me Canada has free health care and I passed him a book I was reading. I told him to look on the back where the price is.

"What does it say next to U.S?"

"$15.95"

"What does it say next to Canada?"

"$23.95"

"A difference of what?"

"8 dollars"

"Theres their FREE Health Care. They're taxed through the roof on everything."

Free Health Care for all!

Some but the survey ignored all other factors. It was done by Harvard so that SHOULD tell you a lot.

Then what is the real figure according to you? zero percent? 0.001 %? Put up a link to your figure, rather than just giving the official Republican propaganda.

Kind of sad when you believe these myths.

Poor Americans get the best health care around and pay absolutely nothing. Not a thing. When you are poor and are at the public trough everything is paid for.

You should read up on who suffers when they are not insured. It isn't the poor.

Flu shots? They were giving them out at Wal-Mart and the Supermarket. LOL. Going to Canada for a flu shot.

That was funny? What really made you laugh about that?

so American health care has no problems? Then why does USA spend more on health care than any other country? Why does it have teh lowest life expectancy in the developed world? Highest infant mortality? Highest maternal mortality? Or is that all Communist propaganda? (or should I say Democratic propaganda, probably it means the same thing to you)?

That is the Republican position, Avro. US health care system is the best in the world, it has no problems, and any attempt to improve it will result in people dying in the streets, as they do everywhere except n USA. That is why Republicans did not touch health care when they were in power for 12 years, they were quite happy to leave it in the hands of their buddies, the insurance companies.

Shhhh. That is something to be swept under the carpet, pretend that it doesn't exist.

Awwww...ain't that cute. Joey sticking up for Avro just like Avro did for Joey.

What a cute couple you guys are.

Sure there are problems.

So once the Democrats pass this bill all those things will change? LMAO. I can't wait.

It doesn't stop the wealthiest Canadians and your Politicians from coming down here to be treated properly and in a timely fashion.

There is an old, but true and valid saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

It ain't broke, really? Let us see.

Highest health care expenditure per capita, much more than any other country.

Lowest life expectancy in developed world.

Highest infant mortality in the developed world.

Highest maternal mortality in the developed world.

It ain't broke, really? If it is such a paradise over there, have you considered moving to USA?

Well there you go.

They did not mention that mortgages and credit card debt also factored into those bankruptcies. They failed to mention it was a combination of things.

Does it happen? Sure. Couple that with living above your means.

Stick to Cricket.

Again, the figure is out there. It was reported by CNN, I believe CNN, it has a stellar reputation. If you think the figure is wrong, put up the link which shows the correct figure (according to you). Simply claiming (without any evidence) that 60% or 70% is wrong just doesn't cut it.

It does not matter what you or I think. What matters is what Americans (or Danny Williams) think.

And obviously, you forgot another time-provewn and true expession: "You get what you pay for".

And they do not want sudden changes that would take them down the road of socialism, because believe it or not, hardly any of Americans fell under the treasoneous spell of the beached whale, Michael Moore.

No, I have not considered to move to the U.S.

You consider India the ultimate paradise. Have you considered to move there?

I just read the ACTUAL report and only 29% claimed that Medical Bills were the actual cause of their bankruptcies.

The rest of it was extrapolated from other reasons including having a medical bill > $5,000 or 10% of their income.

Also the only bankruptcies chosen for their survey were homeowners ONLY.

Harvard Univ (hotbed of government control and liberalism here in the US) had a goal and boy they know how to manipulate. How else can they be the biggest land owners in Boston and not pay a dime in property taxes.

Roll that one and smoke it boooooooyeeeeee!

It takes totally uninformed person to call "DEEM-AND-PASS" Demonpass.

Same person who once referred to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell as Mitch Meccano.

Can you guess who it was? For a clue, see the quote, below:

"The ping pong does NOT continue. If Democrats use the Demonpass, then Senate bill will have passed and it will go to Obama for signature. The additions and alterations to Senate bill, they will go back to the Senate. But Senate bill will be in the bag, assuming Democrats use the Demonpass."

Canada Age 80

USA Age 78

LMAO. What a stat!

Canada 4.8 per 1000

USA 6.3 per 1000

Wow you guys are light years ahead of us!

We better change our whole Health Care system to fix those numbers!

There is a significant difference between 78 years and 80 years.

And 4.8 and 6.3 is a huge difference. Infant mortality in USA is a whopping 31.25 % higher than infant mortality in USA. For 100 babies that in USA, 131 babies die in Canada. Actually I didn't realize the difference was that high.

Are you out of your mind? When did I say that India is a paradise? In fact, when did I praise anything about India? Did you pull it just out of the hat?

It would be funny, if it was not so sad and hypocritical that a person who would gladly see millions of babies aborted, worry about infant mortality.

BTW, do you proof read your posts? I did not think so. That is why everything coming from you makes as much sense as your quote, above.

Put up the link here, let us all see it. And if you have a medical bill greater than 10% of their income, I cna see that may be the major reason for bankruptcy in some cases.

You are changing the subject, that is a sure sign that you have run out of arguments.

And what is your problem with Demonpass? That is how it is referred to in the press, and I don't see anything wrong with that. Anyway, this tells me that you have really ran out of arguments, when you keep changing the subject (like bringing in abortion, or questioning whether Demonpass is the proper term, or falsely claiming that I said India is a paradise).

When one has nothing to say, the last desparate attempt is to change the subject.
