I thought Canada was out of the gold running when they lost.

again same players no they all play on different teams, some are teamates some are not.
if so better shouldn't you be the ones who got more teams in nhl??? there 24 in usa.. and 6 in candada how am i being sore grapes ? one of the members well two said some things i don't like or appreciate.

Just so you know the facts, the NHL was formed in Canada in 1917, with the following teams: The Ottawa Senators, the Quebec Bulldogs, the Montreal Canadiens, the Montreal Wanderers, and the Toronto Arenas. Also the Stanley Cup was donated by Lord Stanley, one of the first Governer Generals of Canada.
Where would the NHL be without the Yanks??? LOL, Without Canada there would be no NHL.
no actually learn you facts. National Hockey Association than change there names to national hockey league. you only had 6 teams... now there.... 30....

When you learn the facts then you can reply. The original NHL had 5 teams, all Canadian. I don't care how many yankee teams there are now, the league is too big anyway.
