While there are those that question Khadr's participation in the actual fight, it is clear that he was armed and while he was shot in the back, all that proves is that he was a coward.

No.....him getting shot in the back proves how much of a chicken sh*t coward the american piece of crap was that did it.......big tough guy, shoot a kid in the back.

Yep I agree, we will deal with him, he's our problem.

No, I think he stands a better chance where he is, be free a lot sooner. At least in the U.S. we know what we are going to accuse him of. In Canada you have no idea what to do with him, let alone what to charge him with.

Umm...your first statement contradicts your last one.

Not really, I do not want him tried by the Afghans, that was being sarcastic, as sarcastic as by saying I would like Canada to handle the problem. If Canada had captured him, then I would have no objection to what they do with him. We (the U.S.) have him and he will be tried under our laws. Once we decide which court to use, the result probably will be the same anyway, our laws are not that much different.

I think that Omar is playing by Wussie Rules.. That is, act really tough, take a few pot shots at a target (likely fire straight up in the air) and then run screaming like a little girl when you're spotted.. Last rule - piss your pants and begin to weep inconsolably.

Oh ya...that's real funny. I'd ask if it is your usual MO to shoot 15 year olds in the back, but we have already had that conversation.

How about playing by the rules that you yourself expect? You know, treat those the way you expect to be treated. Something the u.s. has not done when it comes to the treatment and disposition of those in gitmo.

He was a child, and as such, should be treated accordingly.

Plus, he has been in prison without having been found guilty of sweet p*ss all for how many years? How would that with any of sit with any of ya's if it was the chinese, or Russians, or Saudi's, etc holding some other Canadian or american citizen?

Oh Baloney!

What, you expect him to get the guy to show ID before he shoots him????

In a gunfight, you shoot the enemy in the centre of the mass you can see......

If he'd finished the job, we wouldn't have this problem now.

I commend our current and past governments for allowing the US judicial process to take place before deciding what should be done him.

what "judicial process"? NOTHING has been decided or done...Kahdr has been in that hole for 8 years now without a resolution....without being brought to trial.

You're right, I don't know what I was thinking in expecting americans not to be shooting anyone in the back,....
