At least Pickens tried unlike the Kennedy's.

You see... for YEARS...DECADES... the Kennedy's have attacked conservatives and their lack of energy in seeking alternatives to oil.

Enter Cape Winds...a project to build a wind farm a couple of miles off Cape Cod Massachusetts. You would think the Kennedy's would applaud the effort as it would provide electrical power for Cape Cod.

However the wind farm would be located 2 miles off of Hyannis, the location of the Kennedy compound. To be blunt, in the area that the Kennedy's yacht and sail in the summer.

Now wind power is not such a good idea, at least not in their backyard and I am sure that the Kennedy's believe they own the ocean that they sail in.

What hypocrites.

Off the subject slightly- do you think nuclear power is realistic? Do you think it's got a bad rap due to a couple of unfortunate disasters? Is there a way of using nuclear power and be sure of not having the disasters? Be nice to know the actual truth.

Ted Kennedy, obviously, does not own the ocean. He owns the beach, being a detestable, morbidly obese beached whale, masquarading as a human.

The modern wind turbines are certainly NOT unappealing estatically. They are graceful AND powerful creators of power, while Ted Kennedy's objection to them is nothing more than typical, liberal hot air.

Ted Kennedy was never one of my faves, but hey I think he came by it honestly (from old Joe). There's a windmill at the east end of the Crowsnest Pass, not a problem visually. Talking about Hot air, maybe if you set one up in their back yard there'd be enough of them to make it work...........

Ted Kennedy may have come to his riches honestly, but his Papa sure DID NOT!

Joseph Kenedy was a bigger bootlegger than Al Capone. He was also the greatest supporter of Hitler.

Only a politically blind person could ever admire ANY of the Kennedys.

Like I said before, at 5' 11" and 195/196 ponds I am definitely slimmer than Ted Kennedy.

I didn't think Jack and Bobby were too bad and Joe Jr. gave his life fighting for his country.

That's where I prefer Canadian rules - on tidal waters, you can only own to the normal high water level - you cannot own the beach.

JLM, I would agree with you, not including the philandering tomcat, JFK.

That may have been an appropriate assessment 50 years ago, but nowadays you just don't know what the agreement is between a guy and his wife and you probably couldn't be sure of it then either. If both of them want to screw their heads off outside the marriage, is anyone really being harmed?

Friends Hmmm...

So are you saying that your friend wants to kill Christians?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Christians there are a threat, or a bother? Which generally get you killed in your neck of the woods?

Cliffy, 'gopher', you two hang with interesting characters. In Kansas they used to drag a whole lot of blacks AND a few homosexuals to their death, chained behind those nice TALL shiny very expensive pick-up trucks. We are working hard to get them to cut back on that.

Anyway tell your friend that the number of Muslims in the world waaayy outnumber the self proclaimed Christians. I also read where their birthrate is skyrocketing today, all over the world and has been since the 70's, -especially in Canada-, while "others" stand by with a 1.6 or so children per household.
You might 'quietly ponder that'.

Which organ thinks, 'Harmed'? How about...

??Kids??
??Grandparents??
??Uncles and Aunts??
The extreme loss and pain, for what?

Really, Divorce or Not-
It is always nicer and a whole lot smoother for BOTH parents to be role models for what marriage means. Work together, Two become one, as in marriage,...

its a verb as well as a noun.:fish:

They do look majestic up against the Rockies (?) smile. In Kansas we have a large windfarm, with more on the way. Nebraska has just decided to develop the historically unending wind of the plains. Of course with global warming, how long will we say that with the potential change of weather pattern changes.:fish:

I do believe that nuclear power is the answer. I also believe it will never happen.
