Actually apart from the Avro Aero I think Dief was probably the greatest BUT that one blunder pulled him back to about a C-.

Aside from his cancelling the Avro Arrow, Diefenbaker was a great blustery blowhard, who invented battles to fight. His own party, led by Dalton Kamp finally ended his leadership. Dief the Chief(or Dief the thief) depending on your point of view kept his seat in Saskatchewan until he died.
