The mentality to combat today’s criminals is and should be equal to the enemy, so...... this situation needed first a person who can speak in helpful and meaningful terms, there by not forcing the poor immigrant to loose his mental stability, being that for many hours as it has been said by media no one interacted with him to get him to his final destination.

As we have all said the air port is negligent in not providing the service required to help travelers who do not speak the English language to get safely to their final destination.

They failed miserably on that account; on the account of the cop’s obviously the cops were ill-advised as to the situation and visited the poor immigrant thinking that he is drunk and causing a disturbance.

The mother is out big time,

SHE WILL NOT HAVE HER ONLY SON NEXT TO HER WHEN SHE IS OLD TO CARE FOR HER.........

all that because of bad judgment of the 4, and the air port not set up with translation ability which caused a mans death for using the facility he paid on his ticket to come to Canada, instead it was easier to 50.000 volt jolt him and send him to his grave. There is something bad here. Some one must look after the mother......
$10M WILL NOT BE ENOUGH FOR THE COST OF SUFFERING KNOWING HER SON’S LAST MINUTES OF LIFE HAS BEEN WITNESSED BY THOUSANDS IF NOT MILLIONS, THAT, WOULD HURT A LOT, TO KNOW YOUR ADULT KIDS VIOLENT DEATH IS ON YOU TUBE WITNESSED BY MILLIONS THANKS TO THE PERSON THAT TOOK THE VIDEO. That would hurt, poor woman…

I'm hoping that some good will come of this in that all the decent cops will refuse to work with these scumbags in the future.

We as Canadians should be outraged if no action is taken against these officers – they are lower than incompetent and a disgrace to others that wear the Serge.
They should be removed from the RCMP

WE HAVE TO DEMAND
THAT THEY WILL BE IMPRISONED . WRITE TO YOUR MP ,DO SOMETHING- NOW !

The idea is excellent, but nothing short of about 5 million citizens marching to Ottawa would do much good.

I think that there might be different ways like again writng to your MP,meeting him personally as a group ,writing to PM and that's what I have done ( no response),write a petition letter to Ottawa .Do something as a concern citizens - be persistent ,aggressive
but not arrogant -after all WE ARE THEIR EMPLOYERS .

Another day of attempted lies by the officers involved. The real issue is, these guys are scared of an international court where evidence could be heard and the cops can't control. What struck me most is this, there are four cops, confronting a frustrated man. armed with nothing more than a stapler, a man who couldn't speak english, and by their own admission, the four officers are afraid of him.
Imagine four policeman kill a man because he couldn't speak english and the cops were afraid of him. These police were out of control before they entered the room. We as a country are hiring the wrong people to defend societies institutions.

Exactly right - FIRST DEGREE MURDER- I think this whole thread and one from C.B.C. should be sent to the commissioner. With the amount of disgust shown on these forums, these lowlifes should be history and spending the rest of their's in prison.

Unfortunately, or fortunately (depending on your point of view) the disgust shown on these forums comes from people that are too quick to come to conclusions, too quick to lay blame where it may or may not be warranted and too quick to sidestep real problems in order to get to their own perceived problems. It's quite clear to people that have investigative training that the opinions expressed on these threads have no validity and that most are not approaching this issue with open mindedness. It would be a sad day indeed if the Commissioner took into account what a bunch of anonymous people (with an obvious lack of inquisition and observation skills) have to say.

I personally feel that nothing substantive is going to come out of this because all the focus seems to be on the four officers. It's too bad because it would seem we finally have the impetuous to correct some of the problems with the RCMP and I fear the oportunity will be lost.

Generally speaking you are bang on with your analysis, but in this instance- ongoing over the past 18 months and dozens of hours of news coverage and photography from an unprejudiced person present at VYR, I think the population in general has a pretty good handle on this, albeit it possibly charged with some emotion (which is good as that can start things happening)

No, it was the victim who was out of control when the police entered the room. Your accusation of attempted lies is bogus. You weren't there, you don't know the facts. Don't jump to conclusions you want...

No they don't. They have a handle on what they saw on a video and what they are hearing and reading in the news and they falsely assume their picture is complete.

I rest my case. Many people commenting on this don't even have a basic understanding of Canadian law.

This from a man(?) who says he doesn't need reason and logic!!!! LMAO

You don't have a case; you are a case.
