Estrogen in moisturizers may worsen breast cancer

Breast cancer patients who apply moisturizers may be dosing themselves with estrogen without even knowing it, investigators reported at a breast cancer symposium in San Antonio.
Dr. Adrienne Olson, with Breastlink in Hawthorne, California, and colleagues analyzed 16 widely available moisturizers for estrogen-like compounds.
None of the creams analyzed noted any estrogen content in their list of ingredients. Even so, six samples contained estriol or estrone.

That is a very interesting site. I have consumed a lot of pop over the past 16 years. Never used to have it much before we bought a restaurant and then it became quite the habit. I also have hypothyroidism. We do have purified water in the house at all times. I don't use it for cooking and I don't use it in things like tea and coffee. Our purified water is just for drinking water only. Long before I drank purifed water there was signs of my hypothyroidism though. My brother has high blood pressure and heart problems. He never drinks purified water unless it is served to him. I am constantly being told that I appear 10 years younger than I am. People are always shocked by my real age so I also have a bit of a problem with the aging thing they say. Age catches up with all of us and it will for me too but I don't think the water is what will cause it. Who knows!

When we lived in Prince George, I worked for the city. I had a friend there that told me her baby died of crib death. They managed to revive him once but in the hospital, he died anyway. She had always had a strange feeling that even though he was her 3rd child, she should not take him for his "shots" but family pressure made her follow through. As I recall from her story, her baby died within days to maybe a week after his shots. She must have been on meds following that because she could not stop talking about "Jonathon" and how she felt so responsible for his death.She was just too bubbly all the time. Artificial happiness I think. She truly felt that had she not given in and allowed him to have his shots, he would be alive. She loved her two other children dearly and she loved her husband. The really odd thing to me is - I see that her husband now lives here in this city with the two grown children who are in the same very public career as he has chosen. I attempted to contact her husband so that I could re-new my friendship with her. He never responded. Then one day I noticed he had a partner and next the partner was his wife. She's a ringer for his first wife. I have to wonder where she is and if "she is".

That's false. Purified water is not bad for you. It may in fact be beneficial depending on what is in your regularly available water source. Boiling veggies reduces the nutrient value no matter what type of water you boil them in.
