Last year when this topic was covered I came uo with some numbers that included millions of Jews being killed, along with millions who were not Jews. I recall you got pissed when I asked how many of the Jews were criminals.
The bottom line is more Gentiles were killed than there were Jews, the problem I have is that the Gentiles are not to be remembered, only the deaths of the Jews are to be spoken about, and in terms that, when closely examined do not hold up as facts. For every word I said on the subject I posted links to reputable sources, some are just newer than your pre 1950 works.

Seeing the many posts on this forum, I now understand why it is so important to maintain places like that. Within a few years of it becoming "something useful", you'd have tons of internet posts claiming it never existed at all, the Nazis were benevolent occupiers and there is no danger posed by extreme nationalism and bigotry.

I already told you a number of times, no serious historian EVER accepted the 4.5 million number for Auschwitz. That is why the total was not changed when the number at Auschwitz dropped by over three million. Let me repeat that for you......the number changed with the collapse of Communism.....the 4.5 million was never anything but communist propaganda.....and that has been recognized since the end of the war....NOBODY TOOK IT SERIOUSLY!!!!!

I don't agree. The record of the holocaust is well documented and there is no reason to have anything but a respectably sized, tasteful, shrine dedicated to those who died. I was in Germany for almost four years and I liked the German people and I see no reason to keep beating them over the head about Hitler's camps. The average German didn't even know about the camps until after the war, and if some did know, what could they do about it?

The camp is in Poland so Germans have to go out of their way to even see it. We don't need to maintain every concentration camp, and we haven't. The biggest and most well known acts as a museum and that doesn't seem unreasonable. Don't you see the posts questionning the holocaust? Well documented doesn't seem to matter. A shrine would be a zionist lie, it wasn't a concentration camp, it was a work camp, as long as they worked they were fine. Arbeit macht frei was true.
