No cons to defend this.....:?:

Oh...that's right, they are all ignoring me like a bunch of yellow spined cowards.

Got together in some cabal of cowardice and decided they couldn't take my genius so they chose to run instead.

Afraid of my superior intellect I guess.

Perfect.

No idea who charges whatever amount for security but:

Was a real occurence when Mrs. Cretien was met at their bedroom door by a knife wielding intruder.

Was a real occurence when several people were picked up with plans to blow up our Parliament buildings.

Was a real occurence that an individual entered the Quebec House with an assault rifle.

Has been several shootings in resent years by someone with a grudge against someone. Could be the PM as well as anyone else.

Security for any PM is a cost that we have to bear IMO.

Nah...Cretien knew how to handle himself, but cons are spinless cowards and need the 30 million dollar security blanket.

I certainly don't see any cons defending this so I must be right.

I love this.

So, you believe there should be no security for our PM?

I'm trying to understand your point, other than that you don't like Harper. Do you have one?

Realistically, would it have been as funny if Mrs.Chretien had been stabbed and or worse? The last thing we want (even if you don't like Harper think about when your guy gets in) is PM's making decisions not about whats right, but about whats least likely to have their kids get shot on the way to school.

Has it occured to anyone that Harper has young children that need to be protected as well, and that those costs are included??????

Or that, as the newspaper says, expert opinion is that Harper's costs are up because he has been threatened????

I love it when folks that don't know what "risk" is call others "cowards".

Avro you and your other liberal slime buckets on this board should realize that security is a price we have to pay, especially after 9-11. Even your buddy dion had rcmp 'get rid' of a CTV reporter election day evening. I would say he was spineless in not asking him to step aside himself.... ( I suppose you think the RCMP was there for free?)

Don't be such an idiot.
