Baby steps, little Librano:

Defence department says initial lack of disclosure due to 'honest mistake' by bureaucrat

The flight manifest for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Christmas vacation to the Caribbean, released to the Conservatives through an access to information request, was redacted to leave off the names of family members and a nanny who travelled on the government-owned Challenger jet.

In January, the Prime Minister's Office refused to answer media questions about who flew with Trudeau to St. Kitts and Nevis, saying only that he enjoyed the holiday with family and with other friends who made their way to the tropical island independently.

"As for the friends of the Trudeau family who were also present in Nevis, they did not travel on the Challenger but made their own way there," Andrée-Lyne Hallé, a spokeswoman for the PMO, said in an e-mail to CBC News at the time.

She said she couldn't confirm more details when asked specifically for the names of passengers who travelled on board the jet.

But documents obtained by the Conservatives and shared with CBC News show two versions of the manifest for the exact same flight.

On a version released in March, there are five names listed — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and their three children, Hadrien, Ella-Grace and Xavier.

In June, another copy of the manifest was released to the Conservatives through an access to information (ATIP) request showing three additional names: Marian Pueyo, a nanny working for the Trudeau family, and Jean Grégoire and Estelle Blais, the prime minister's in-laws.

This is your big criticism?

No wonder the guy has solidified a 20% lead.

Where, in that vast empty space 'twixt your ears?

So much for the openness and transparency of the Liberals, federally or provincially.
Pretty sad when a trust fund brat has to steal from the taxpayers to go on vacation. And he's had what, three vacations so far and he's not even a year into his term?
Looks like trust fund boy is taking his job as PM about as seriously as he took his job as an MP.

These huff and puff stories are not relevant and I am convinced the CBC is putting them out to deflect from the real issues and failings of the Liberals which are costing Canadians serious money and a failed future just as the Cons were.

Discouraging to see the CBC join the ranks of the Sun/National Post group.......

I'm always skeptical about politicians spending, but sometimes hesitate to criticise on the off chance, they worked some free overtime to compensate for extra perks as I'm sure Mr. Trudeau may have done. (But not all that likely) :)

how much carbon that jet burn again?

But doesn't most of that happen way out in the Stratosphere? :) :)

Just the fact that he uses the taxpayer's jet to take the family on another holiday is bad enough. But to fill it up with hangers on and then lying about it is too much. Of course we are all used to the left lying.

While Bev Oda spending $17 on a glass of orange juice was just criminal.

Once the trip is planned you might as well fill the plane up, just no bar tabs. No fighter escort when traveling near the US?

What was the OJ being mixed with??

Once we get them to the hot spot of the day we might as well pick up the hotel tab as well. Wouldn't want the trust fund kids to dig into their own pocket for such trivial items.

Her spending $17 of our money on a glass on OJ was stupid. The hotel charging that much does border on criminal.
Yeah, it doesn't really matter who's in power anymore anyway. With the entitlement mentality of the senior snivel service they tend to look at the tax coffers as their personal piggy bank.

Back in the late 80's the junior civil service was in a strike, or more accurately, work to rule situation. The major blocking point was salary. The union wanted a 5% raise over three years. The govt negotiator suggested they were being greedy as the senior civil service was only getting a 2% raise.
The union negotiator fired back, "Well then give us the same $25,000/yr tax-free spending allowance that the senior level gets and we'll gladly take the 2% over three years."
That when the talks fell apart.

Agreed... And why not get those hangers-on to shell-out what they would have paid on a commercial airline... Might even off-set the burden to taxpayers

So you guys are hypocrites now.

Good to know.

It honestly shows a lack of integrity when conservatives cry over a lost penny, but want billions spent to subsidize their private industry of choice.
