[/SIZE]TAMPA - One of George Zimmerman's neighbors is speaking out, saying looks can be deceiving.
Despite booking video from the Sanford Police Department that many say shows George Zimmerman largely unscathed from his encounter with Trayvon Martin, the neighbor said he saw Zimmerman with obvious injuries.
The neighbor is talking for the first time about what he saw on George Zimmerman's face less than 24-hours after Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
"I saw George. He was banged up. His head had two big bandages, that weren't flat, had a bump on them," the neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said.
He described where the injuries were.
"I seen him have a big bandage on his nose and his nose swollen. On the side, where his eyes were at, it was swollen," he said.
He points out exactly where on a picture.
"I seen the bandage right here, and this side of his nose and this side of his nose was swollen.

Zimmerman has a license to carry.
IF Zimmerman was actually acting on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch, he should not have been carrying,as that is against their rules. (but not against the law)
Zimmerman has worked as a bouncer so he is familiar with the physical side of the job. I haven't heard that Martin, who is half Zimmerman's size was armed with anything but candy and soda. What provoked the shooting? Zimmerman's imagination? The problem we have here is an overload of information and a shortage of real evidence.

I have real trouble squaring a lot of what you hear in this......and the recent NBC fiasco of them playing with voice tapes to make Zimmerman appear racist certainly doesn't help.

Too many people feeding on this. The MSM, and the persecution lovers (Sharpton and Jackson).
I defend Zimmerman because I believe he is innocent until they PROVE him guilty in a court of law.......not on Current Affairs TV.
To do that they have to have enough evidence to charge him.......and enough to believe there is a reasonable chance of conviction.....and there is not, at least according to the State Attorney's office. We'll see what the Special Prosecutor has to say.
BTW, I can't square Zimmerman as a bouncer. 5'9" tall, 245 lbs, and asthmatic.......a fat boy with asthma.
However, in a street fight, against a 17 year old 6' +, 160 lbs football player in tip-top shape........I know where my money is going......and it ain't going with the weight.
HLN is reporting that the cry for help came from Martin. (according to voice analysts )

They have enhanced the video to show some hardly visible "injuries" that Zimmerman was supposed to have sustained while being "bashed to the cement " by Martin. IF his head had been bashed as described, they would not need to enhance the video. the injuries would be obvious to anyone. (even after supposedly being cleaned up by the cops. . These cops certainly went above and beyond the call of duty when they provided first aid to Zimmerman at a murder crime scene. (IF we are to believe what the zimmerman groups says )
who the heck knows now.??

Zimmerman is frisked and then led down a series of hallways, still cuffed. At one point, one of the officers stops to look briefly at the back of Zimmerman's head.
There was no obvious sign of any injury to Zimmerman's head or face on the video until it was enhanced. But the enhanced video does not show any visible injury to Zimmerman's nose, nor any signs of blood on his shirt.

IF the video had to be enhanced to show this small injury .......which does not even appear to be a fresh , bleeding injury (recent) and most certainly does not seem to qualify as the result of what has been described as "head bashing " against the sidewalk. His hair would have been bloodied and matted and dishevilled. (even if it is short)
IF his head had been battered as his people indicate...... he would have been dizzy, just from the force and repeated impact.The video does not corroborate the words of the Zimmerman group. Where are the close up photos ? One "assumes" they took some during the initial investigation of the crime scene.
He did TWO THINGS WRONG: for sure he followed Martin , when he was not supposed to. (the neighborhood watch guidelines indicate this ) AND he was TOLD NOT TO FOLLOW. Second: he was carrying a weapon. Against neighborhood watch guidelines. It is these two wrongs that created a third major tragic wrong. Everything else is just chatter.

Wasn't that wonderful when it ame out. NBC editing and resplicing audio so it says what NBC wants it to say and not what it actually said.
In the desire to sensationalize this case they have pretty much destroyed it.
Now the latest 'high tech' go at filtering/enhancing bat technology and listening to the tape under the cone of silence has happened.
