Fear of being wrong creates such an internal struggle for those like selfsame that they freak out and commit horrific violence and atrocities in an attempt to subjegate any further struggle.
Islam most definitely does not value intelligence, critical thinking or any form individuality and will in fact destroy any one or anything that has or represents any of those qualities.
Islams growth is not because it has something of value to share with the people, but because it dominates through violence and human destruction and uses safety in numbers rather then truth in facts to further its reach. It picks on a humans weakness towards personal responsibility and self worth.
