that makes too much sensible sense. Arresting the bloke might offer a bit of mental torture along the path to "justice".

but heck.....no one is interested in bringing justice to "our " own as in the west.

An arrest is too much to ask for. That would require conscientious legal folks following through on something that could be a political hot potato.

You ought to encourage Cheney to come up to Canada as it would give you an excellent opportunity to affect an arrest of this villain. You'd be a real hero OB, in fact, you could slap the shackles on yourself and escort the criminal to your basement where the trial could occur.

and this relates to the topic , how exactly??? Or is your objective in coming here to derail topics like the adolescent mentaltiy that still grips so many on here.

It relates directly to this topic in a form that parallels your childish fixation and uber myopic view on the subject.... I find it quite fitting actually.

.

He was up there recently. Instead of arresting Cheney some lefty dingbat choked the security guard.

Agreed... that book should be banned as well! Oooops.

I would like to suggest that simply banning the book is not enough. What we really need is a good, ole fashioned book burning.

Maybe I ought to look into studying the technical ins and outs that the Nazi's used for their family-friendly, book burning jamborees back in the day... Nothing beats German efficiency, I say.

Can we just burn Ann Coulter at the stake in proxy?

If I was an authour, I would enjoy a book burning. In order to burn my book, one would have to purchase it first. This would make me even more money. Plus, no publicity is bad publicity.

We should probably consult OB on that one, afterall, she'll be leading the McCarthy-ist charge in determining who is 'approved' and who is to be re-educated.

... But I do like the trial-by-fire suggestion, I understand that it was quite successful in identifying and 'correcting' witches back in the day.

Well it is on the New York Times Best seller list much to the chagrin of Breezy.

That's the problem with nut cases like Breezy. Until a week ago I had no feelings about Cheney one way or the other, now I'm ready to start looking for redeeming features about the man, probably because when a person with low credibility starts to bad mouth someone I automatically start to think he must be a good person. NOW I don't mean for people to start thinking Trudeau and Mulroney were/are good people.

what is the point of reading his book. it will be just a 'right wing' approach to his life in politics/ white house/ war, or whatever. The republicans will love it, and he won't say anything to offend or put
a bad light on any of them.
He will tactfully point a finger at the democrats, in such a polite way, to make it all sound absolutely
true, and from that we all will be left wondering.

I won't read it. I read a couple of books about john kennedy's life, and his time in the whitehouse, and
because I liked him as president, and thought he was a positive influence on the american people, I thoroughly enjoyed the books, but of course the same can be said about those books, nothing written that
would have made john kennedy look bad, UNLESS it was the ones written from the 'other' political party.

politics is politics, and it doesn't stop just because it is a book, doesn't mean it is a 'tell' all,
absolutely not, it is just another political position, to make the writer look sincere and truthfull.

the masses can figure out lots of situations, as we have concerning the iraq war, doesn't take a rocket
scientist to do that, but for the most part, we don't have information they don't want us to have.

Its always been that way, (in every government) and always will.

I probably won't read his book either unless I can get it from the library. I don't think in terms of left wing/right wing mentality, it's so silly, one's is as good/bad as the other. The important thing in politics is to do what will work. I used to think J.F.K. was a pillar of society, but over the years have changed my mind, he had his good points and his bad points his strengthy and weaknesses, like most people. People got caught up in the mania largely because contrary to Eisenhower, Truman and Roosevelt, he was young with a young family, but they overlooked his genetic inheritance from one of the most diabolical old bastards on the face of the earth. "The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree"..........:lol:
