Are you ****ing high?

I am a Catholic if that has any of importance to you. Are you a disgusting Republican that supporting Donald Trump? You don't know me so don't make judgments against me. I can tell that you're uneducated and you're ignorant!

You're clearly an idiot. You're the type of people that bring out the anger in me and then I want to spit on! You're a lowlife.

You make me sick. You must belong to the KKK extended family. Your character is deplorable. Get lost and don't comment again. Do back to your sister wife.

Hahaha I'm a female stupid. Shows you don't know how to read.. you get your diploma from Trump U?

Your the sickening kind of Right Wing Christian that doesn't follow Jesus. You hide behind saying you're Christian but you're not, while saying vile things. Real Christians cringe at people like you and our embarrassed. I'll say a rosary for you

Ummmm....Just stay where you are thanks!

Again you are right. I got over being pissed and how have turned to laughter.
He lost all credibility...

As did you babe! Please stay in Kentucky or Tennessee or Alabama or whichever backward state you and your brother, I mean husband, or is it dad?, happen to be from. Happy crack-a-lacking to ya!

Riiiiiight, because getting upset about durry's usual bigoted and brainless bullshyte was the wrong thing to do.

Hello,
I am new here and please take down if not allowed. I am a US citizen, and I am starting to consider moving my family to Canada. My husband and I are both educated professionals, but I don't know if I can take living in the US much longer. My question is and forgive my ignorance, where do I even begin looking for a new community in Canada to move to? Suggestions? I don't know anyone from Canada so I cannot reach out to anyone in that aspect. Also we would be relocating as well as looking for jobs. My husband is a teacher and I work in the heavy machinery/service business.

The reason why I want to move to Canada and hopefully get citizenship? I have been to Canada one time very long ago, and it is a BEAUTIFUL place. It was right over the Minnesota boarder, but hey it was Canada! :)
I am tired of the hatred of America's mindset. I am tired of people not being able to live in peace. I am tired of putting my defense up because I don't know how the people surrounding me motives, or morals.

I am by no means naive, I know everywhere has their own problems, but the USA is at it's all time worse.

Any advise or suggestions welcome. I am hoping not to receive any negativity on this.....

Thank you and take care- J

Take a look at Calgary Alberta. Close to the mountains if you like skiing. Both Public and Catholic school systems. If you have kids, The Catholic school system is publicly funded so you're not paying private school fees for a Catholic education, plus, school fees are less in the Catholic system than they are in the public and the kids get a better education.

Disregard what curious said about Alberta.

If you move to Bountiful BC, make sure your daughter includes a monogamy clause in her marriage contract.

:D
Have you been there or are you speaking from second hand experience ?

Yeah, since the Manitoulin has already been invaded by Torontonians. At least with the economic downturn I might be able to afford one of the Maple Point properties one of my aunts scammed from my grandmother in her will that were supposed to be left to us.. After that, sure, move the Jack distillery there, the island could surely use the boost, in more ways than one, and Doug Smith can expand his business even more transporting the stuff.

And no, I'm not bitter over the will thing, but my mum sure is.

And back to the point; every time there is the chance of a regime change in the US the inquiries as to immigration to Canada escalate, no matter if it Dem - Rep or vise versa. In the past 30 years I have moved 8 times, mostly all for work but once for an escape. The escape one didn't work out so well, except that we are still alive and might not have been otherwise, and we never left Canada, but that is a long story in itself. We were running from a real and defined threat, you seem to be running from a perceived threat. That's okay, but you won't find any solace here if you are trying to escape a potential government that doesn't share your ideals, or even threatens them. We have that here too. All the types of folks you have there we have too, good and bad. We do have our issues, but we are more sparsely populated and more folks, at least in the less populated areas, are more likely to go along to get along. We are quite smug in our belief that we are so much safer and civilized than the US, but that is more hyperbole and naivety than fact.

As others have said on this thread, do your research. One thing I will tell you is that we are the second highest taxed country in the G8, behind France. You pay extra to live here. Nunavut has the lowest taxes and Quebec the highest. Nova Scotia is probably the most expensive province to live in due to not only high taxes, but they have fees on everything, and has the highest power rates in the country, but it is beautiful, at least for three months of the year. BC is even more beautiful, but again you pay for it in taxes and insurance among other things. Ontario, as beautiful it is, at least in the north, is just f*kked right now, their power rates are damn near Nova Scotia's and their governance is just a mess and has been for as long as I can remember, and only gotten worse in the last decade. I haven't lived in Manitoba for 40 years so I cant comment other than to say it too is a beautiful province, especially in the north. If I had my choice I would move back to Saskatchewan, I'm sorry I ever left, but it was for an escape. Sure the south is flat and farmland but a drive north gets you into the "Shield", Clear lakes, trees and some of the best hunting and freshwater fishing the country has to offer, and a fairly moderate tax rate. I live in Alberta, The cost of living is quite reasonable in al aspects other than real-estate, (unless you compare it to Vancouver or Toronto). Taxes are low, gas and power rates as well. I moved from Nova Scotia so to me everything is cheaper except beer and wine. Our NDP government is hiking taxes on many things so the Alberta Advantage is quickly disappearing, but hopefully they are just a one hit wonder such as the NDP were in Nova Scotia, which was already a lefty province in the first place.

Hope that helps, cheers

Bill O'Reilly promised to move to Ireland if that "socialist" Hillary Clinton is elected.

Which pretty much proves Billo ain't never been to Ireland, don't know nothing about it, and couldn't find it on a map.

Wait until he finds out that Ireland (and everywhere else in the Western world) is far more Socialist than Hillary.

Good point. Plus the separate school system is one of the few points on which the UN High Commission for Human Rights has criticized Canada, so Canada's human rights record, though far from perfect, is still better than that of many other states. Compare that to Guantanamo Bay for example.

I'd just read about the fundamentalist Mormon church in Bountiful. I just don't know how those men handle so many wives.

Hey I didn't know the fukkwads were socialist. Doesn't make me stupid it simply means I don't give a good gawd damn sap.:).
I don't hear you running your mouth about how you're gonna move to Ireland to escape the EEE-vil soshulists.

Ireland, like every other European country, makes Canada look like the wild West.

Ireland is in Europe too, on an island to the West of the UK, and its currency is the Euro.

Just a heads-up for Durry and his ilk in case they're trying to locate it on a map and contemplating moving there.

Naw the US is a big country. Lot's of nice places To "run" to. Peoples lives aren't going to change drastically because one person is going to be elected to the executive branch of the federal government. It's just popular to have a cause these days because people want attention.
