Tired and dehydrated. Meh. It was already common knowledge in the media.

I can think of bigger worries in life.

Sounds a lot like first world problems to me.

It doesnt sound like it concrned the royal family overly, and yes its first world problems. The third world doesnt have shock jocks pulling these stunts.

One's medical info shouldn't be available or made available to anyone other than the doc's or the patient's regardless of the conten of the medical info.
It was already in the public domain.

It doesnt sound like it concrned the royal family overly...
I guess if the 'victims' don't care...

The third world doesnt have shock jocks pulling these stunts.
I miss Jesse and Jean. They pulled this great stunt where they called the space station, pretending to be Jean Chretien. They asked all sorts of ridiculous questions.

Had me in stitches. If I remember correctly, I think I peed a little.

They got fired too.

T|t for tat. I was just getting revenge. :D
Umm ya, OK, lol.

I thought you didn't want to side track, lol.

According to you.
Nope, according to the facts...

"I didn't know it was unethical to look in the folder sitting on the doctor's desk and pretend to be a close relative of who the folder's files were about and spread the info around town".

Dodge, parry, circle, etc. :D
Nope, just responding accordingly.

Umm ya, OK, lol.
Seriously, it was just a question, not a statement, therefore not a strawman on my part..

I thought you didn't want to side track, lol.
See? Your sidetracking worked on me.

Nope, according to the facts...
Wanna reread the OP again? Here, I'll even fetch it for ya:

"The DJs, posing as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, called the King Edward VII Hospital to inquire about Kate's condition and were patched through to a nurse, who revealed private health details about the duchess. " Doesn't look like the specifics of her condition at the time were public domain to me.

Nope, just responding accordingly.
The only way you can respond, to be exact. lol

That she was in the horsespttle in the first place. Her condition at the time wasn't.
Nope.

The official royal statement released on the 3rd listed Hyperemesis Gravidarum as to the reason for admission.

The DJ's didn't make their call until 4th.

Wanna reread the OP again?
Nope, I was referring to your analogy. The DJ's never saw or possessed any confidential files.

That's just silly make believe on your account.

Exactly what I said. Her condition at the time wasn't public domain until the DJs prank. That she was in the hospital for her ailment was public domain.
Again - ""The DJs, posing as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, called the King Edward VII Hospital to inquire about Kate's condition and were patched through to a nurse, who revealed private health details about the duchess. "" That means that they didn't know what her condition was. All they knew was her affliction.

Nope, I was referring to your analogy.
Yeah, that's the strawman part; I remember.
The DJ's never saw or possessed any confidential files.
Right, just some private info; " a nurse, who revealed private health details about the duchess"

That's just silly make believe on your account.

Exactly what I said.
No it isn't, lol.

In the real world the 3rd comes before the 4th.

Nothing was revealed that wasn't public knowledge on the 3rd...

Hyperemesis gravidarum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nothing there was new on the 4th, lol.

Yeah, that's the strawman part; I remember.
It's still your poor analogy.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiight
You should agree, my observation is correct.

Dream on. Her condition had likely changed between the 3rd and the 4th. People do get better, you know.
Either way what those 2 did was quite unethical.

Good to see there is someone with a sensible "take" on this matter! There is already enough "fault" and "blame" in the world, without having to attach them to situations where NO ONE could have predicted a tragic outcome!

The DJ's probably thought the duped nurse would only face disciplinary consequences, loose her job and be subject to additional ridicule. Suicide never occurred to them, but their intent was malicious. .

BTW ad hominems are logical fallacies, too.
That's why there aren't any in my posts.

Conjecture.

Suicide never occurred to them...

I doubt they thought about the consequences at all.

... but their intent was malicious.
LOL, that's the dumbest statement made in this thread.

Well, your interpretation of the facts anyway ....
Nope, under logical scrutiny, the facts are what they are.

The 3rd comes before the 4th. The DJ's never possessed any confidential files. They were never told anything that wasn't already public knowledge. I merely addressed you poor analogy. And there were no ad hominems or strawman fallacies in my posts.

Yeah, that's not ad hominem...
You're right, it isn't.

Hey LG... isn't CB nasty and annoying.

You proved your points two pages ago. Now CB is just baiting you and trying to bury your arguments under pages of flames.

So how do you make this a better forum CB? What exactly do you add?.
