As long as they value military might /braun over astute INTELLIGENCE in handling situations....... will not support them.

If you mean in Iraq, I believe that they did try Intelligence. I believe they gave Saddam every chance to avoid war. It wasn't a popular move, and I don't think America seriously wanted to do this, but now they (those who are into intelligence) might see more of a benefit of it considering Iran’s latest rhetoric and the cause and effect this war has had on the region as a whole.

No Jay........I don't mean THAT kind of intelligence ;-) I am referring to serious brain power and the think tank kind of decisions that constructive organizations make. No they did NOT give SH every chance to avoid war. The inspectors were doing there job.........and finding nothing.....( remember bush's profound claim about those stockpiles of WMD (lies from the onset) ??? and bush aborted the inspectors and invaded anyhow. Bush wanted Iraq since he took office. If ya do some research on this online........you will find that to be the case. All he and his goons needed was an "excuse " to invade. 9-11 provided that........as then they could infer the "threat "factor any way they wanted to.

bush aborted the inspectors because he knew they would not find anything when they finished and that would blow up his plans to invade...

this invasion was calculated , premeditated from well before 9-11. So OBL and his ilk did bush a favor...... as then bush could realize his own ambitions......using terrorism as an excuse. OBL is worth more to bush alive then he ever could dead.

the terrorists and the bush regime are now in a perpetual dance of terror and war.

I have heard you say this before, but that is all I've heard. You (for my benefit) will need to produce something more than that statement for it to hold water. It is a nice ideal, but doesn't stand all by itself, it needs support.

Here is a link for you I posted somewhere else on this site, but I think it is relevant to our conversation.

The bombing attack was reported to have been conducted by the al-Qaeda in Iraq group. Perhaps not so strangely, war critic and Middle East expert Juan Cole says that no such group exists there.

Guess what? They found one of the culprits - a woman:

Jordanian Security Forces Arrest Iraqi Woman in Bombings

AMMAN, Jordan, Nov. 13 - Jordanian security officials today announced the arrest of an Iraqi woman alleged to be part of the suicide bomber team in last week's attacks on three hotels here. The arrest was said by experts to be a breakthrough that could yield significant insights into the workings of the Iraqi branch of Al Qaeda.

In a taped confession aired on Jordanian state-run television this evening, Sajida Mubarak al-Rishawi, 35, said she was meant to be the fourth bomber in what became the worst act of terrorism in the Jordan's history. Ms. Rishawi said she and her husband, Ali Hussein Ali al-Shamari, had planned to strike a wedding party in the Radisson SAS Hotel. Most of the 57 people who were killed in the attacks died there.

I always wondered.... do women suicide bombers get 40 virgins for their 'reward' in the afterlife too? What does the Q'uran say about this?

The Quran does not even mention 40 virgins for anyone. This is a propaganda and a stupid one at that.

If you need to learn the truth from fiction, there are a lot of websites that can translate the Quran for you. You can search for any term and find what it says. But do not fall for this TV Evangelical BS.

 Why would a woman want 40, er- 72 virgins? That's just her getting 72 cases of premature ejaculation, not much fun from her standpoint.

The above is a photo of damage to the Hyatt from the recent bombing. We are being told that this bombing attack was carried out by "suicide bombers" wearing explosive belts. We are being told there is no truth to initial reports that the bombs were hidden above the ceilings (or that Israelis were yet again given advance warnings to leave).

Take a look at this photo. Does that look like a bomb went off about waist-high, or in fact exploded downward from the ceiling.

Where is the blood splatter? If you wrap a belt around yourself like the one they claim and detonate it, you make a really big gooey bloody mess. The wall is clean.

Is the "confession" a repeat of the infamous phony "Kuwaiti nurse"?

even MSNBC reported the explosion as coming from ceiling.

I wonder.................

Looks mighty suspicious. Looks like was in ceiling to me, as wall would be more damaged. No blood either to be scene, very suspicious.

Have a look at this image of a blown-out drop ceiling in the Amman Hyatt (or the image on the previous post) and tell me the damage was the result of a suicide bomber wearing a vest strapped with explosives, as claimed. No doubt such is possible—if the alleged suicide bomber was crawling around above the drop ceiling, an unlikely prospect at best.

In a concerted effort to put forward the fanciful suicide bomber story, the Jordanians paraded an Iraqi woman on television. “The 35-year-old woman [Sajida Mubarak Atrous al-Rishawi]—the sister of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s right-hand man who was killed by U.S. forces in Iraq—appeared on Jordanian state TV hours after she was captured by security forces who were tipped off by an al-Qaida claim that a husband-and-wife team participated in Wednesday’s bombings,” reports the San Francisco Chronicle. Note how suicide bombings run in Arab families and go all the way up the al-Qaeda family totem pole to the dead Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Obviously, these Arabs are dangerous nihilistic mental cases—or so the corporate media would have us believe.

It is sincerely perplexing the Jordanians knew nothing of the attacks and yet closed in on suspects within a matter of hours. It is also perplexing why al-Rishawi’s bomb did not go off and she ran out of the hotel with frightened wedding guests—only to be captured (while other al-Qaeda terrorists blow themselves up as the police close in; see my post on the Bali bomber). During the staged interview, al-Rishawi made sure to tell the world she is a would-be monster who would have targeted innocents if only her bomb had worked. “There was a wedding in the hotel. There were women and children. My husband executed the attack. I tried to detonate and it failed.” King Abdullah told NBC “that the targets were Jordanians, and that Jordanians and Palestinians were among the guests at the hotels,” according to the New York Times.

One of the alleged suicide bombers was identified as Safah Mohammed Ali, who was held in Fallujah in November, 2004, at approximately the same time the U.S. flattened and used chemical weapons on the Sunni city, killing resistance fighters, women, children, old people, and family pets. ” The spiritual leader of the rebel council that ruled Fallujah when it fell under insurgent control said in a phone interview that he remembered Ali as a fighter in the Black Banners Brigade. That Fallujah cell was led by Omar Hadid, a local insurgent who rose to prominence as a close associate of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian-born leader of al-Qaida in Iraq. Hadid later died in clashes with the U.S. military,” according to Knight Ridder. Last November, the Detroit Free Press reported Omar Hussein Hadid was “technically al-Zarqawi’s underling but in fact the Iraqi face that allowed al-Zarqawi to remain there.” Since al-Zarqawi is dead, this is either a propaganda fabrication, there is an actual person masquerading as al-Zarqawi, or Omar Hussein Hadid works for the false flag pseudo-gang terrorist group. More than likely, the Black Banners Brigade is a black op terrorist group (the group is known for kidnapping contractors and truck drivers) and Safah Mohammed Ali was brainwashed, possibly when he was apprehended in Fallujah. It is not explained why a member of the resistance in Fallujah was not sent immediately to Abu Ghraib for a prolonged session or torture and anal rape while wearing a pair of panties over his head.

But then, of course, Abu Ghraib is reserved for torturing and raping mostly innocent Iraqis, as between 70 and 90 percent of Iraqi detainees held there are innocent of any crime, according to the Red Cross.

This stuff is ridiculous, Moghrabi.

Are you an expert in blast effects? Somehow I doubt it.

Now, I'm no expert either, but I do know this from watching a special on the Oklahoma City bombing.

When a large blast occurs, the roof is blown upwards and destroyed, then (guess what?) gravity pulls in down!!!!

Quote " Obviously, these Arabs are dangerous nihilistic mental cases"

Well, at least you got one half a sentence right.

Colpy,

No I am not a expert. Nor was I an expert when the incubartor woman was on TV 1991. It turned out I was right about the incubator.
