Yes, but you're working in a machine language were the numbers don't necessarily represent their arithmetical functions.


If I have 2 apples, and I get another 2 apples, I'll always end up with 4 apples no matter how many times I repeat the process. There is a 0% chance that I'll end up with 5 apples, or 3 apples or any other number of apples.

I understand what they're trying to do. It's a variation on the ol' 0+4, 1+3, 2+2 thing. There is more than one way to arrive at 4 as a mathematical answer, however this new method of teaching math has me wondering how the hell they handle fractions. Hell, algebra ought to be a real treat. :lol: There's already enough "paper work" in solving algebraic functions without adding more to it.
