Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has deleted a photo of himself wearing socks with President Donald Trump’s face and the slogan “Make America Great Again” after multiple groups said he was violating federal law.
Zinke tweeted the photo before speaking Tuesday to the Western Governors Association at Mount Rushmore, South Dakota.
Zinke later apologized and re-posted the photo with “Make America Great Again” blacked out, saying he had not realized it could be viewed as a political slogan.
In March, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel sent updated guidance on the federal Hatch Act, which prohibits federal employees from engaging in political activity while on duty.
The guidance says employees may not wear, display or distribute items with the slogan “Make America Great Again” while on duty or in the workplace.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser is a former U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr., and since 9/11, one of the few obstacles in the path of the international Islamism in North America that is led by admirers of the radical Muslim Brotherhood of the Arab World and the Jamaat-e-Islami in the Indian subcontinent.
On Monday, Dr. Jasser, who heads the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD), appeared before the Heritage Committee of the House of Commons to share his views on the supposed anti-Islamophobia Motion 103 tabled by Liberal MP Iqra Khalid.
Jasser told the Canadian MPs, “I am here to tell you that by simply even using that term and referring to it as ‘Islamophobia’ and getting the government into the business of monitoring any form of speech will end up paradoxically heightening societal divisions.
(Certainly LIE-berals are doing themselves NO favours by calling Cdns Bigots and Islamophobes every time we disagree with any LIE-beral policy- no matter how legitimate the complaint! LIE-berals make themselves look foolish when they sneer at Cdns who have legitimate fear of Muslim terror! They also look disturbingly dictatorial when they call us names and threaten us with legal charges by using Human Rights Kangaroo Courts in a systematic application of “libel chill”! They are far more focused on setting up punishments for Islamophobia than they are in defining this shameful limitation on free speech on LIE-beral policies!)
(LIE-berals expose themselves as callous and foolish for sneering as we worrying about their massive and growing economy crippling debts and about their grossly costly civil service gravy train with its wonderful salaries and solid gold pensions that are breaking our economy! They fly into irrational rage when we point out that their vaunted Carbon Crap and Trade plan is nothing more than a copy of the DISGRACED European Carbon scam that only cleans out tax payers wallets and does NOTHING to clean our air!)
“Trying to suppress what can be painful speech about Islam at society’s fringes will actually paradoxically feed an unintended consequence of fomenting non-Muslim fears of Islam,” he added.
He warned that non-Muslim Canadians and Americans “who cannot have their real fears heard and their speech exercised will be stifled from the public sector and push resentment underground where it will only foment.”
(The really absurd deal is that civil service Hogs desperately WANT LIE-berals to continue in power so the gravy train will stay on track- but LIE-berals are infuriating Hogs by spending major money- that Hogs want for themselves- on illegal immigrants! It is a confusing time to be a Hog!)
Jasser requested Canadian politicians and opinion leaders “stop engaging [with] Muslim Brotherhood legacy groups in government and media and recognize their misogynist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, and anti-American ideological underpinnings.”
(LIE-berals see major opportunities to buy votes from Muslims and from reverse racist groups like Black Lives Matter and native Idle No more anti white bigots and will be very reluctant to give up this source of votes!)
The AIFD chair pressed on Canadian MPs to make sure they understood that the advice they received “from ideological Islamists is compromised by their fealty to [Islamic] clerics, and the tribal construct of Islamic states from Muslim majority nations.” He could have added that leaders of some Islamic sects, who live outside Canada, yet determine what their followers do or say, even in legislatures.
(Its worse than that- these people to often have loyalty to our enemies- terror groups such as Hamas and Hezzbollah, Taliban and Al Qaida, as well as to Iran. Even moderate Muslims want us to dump our long standing alliances with Britain and United States and they have made it quite clear they intend to implement Sharia Law in Canada just as soon as they have the needed number of votes! LIE-berals do NOT want to as us if we would be comfortable joining the Uma- the world wide Muslim Caliphate!)
Most presenters at the hearings get a chance to answer questions from MPs on both sides of the house. But as I experienced myself, along with other Muslim opponents of M103, such as columnist Farzana Hassan and activist Raheel Raza, the Liberals and the NDP use this time to attack us or simply refuse to engage with us.
(LIE-berals long ago learned the best way to deal with opponents is to ignore them in hope they will get tired and go away- and it often works as most of us have jobs to tend to and cannot spend days talking to deaf and dumb LIE-berals!)
Jasser’s presentation was no exception. Despite taking time out of his schedule and speaking from Phoenix, Arizona, he ended up being scolded and mocked by Liberal MP Arif Virani who used his designated seven minutes berating the American guest and running out the clock, leaving little time for Jasser to respond.
Committee chair Hedy Fry and Liberal MP Arif Virani seem to have a well-coordinated plan on how to humiliate Muslims who do not fit their stereotype of who we are. What happened when I testified was Fry allowed Virani to stage an attack on me right at the end and then when it came time for me to respond, Fry said, “Sorry, time is up.”
(Hedy Fry is the poster girl for reverse bigotry in Canada. She is black immigrant from the Carribean and seems to harbour HATE for all white people. Some years back she rose in shrieking fury to harp on that favour LIE-beral topic “systemic bigotry” and told Parliament that “crosses are burning as we speak” in British Columbia! A hugely rash remark that she was later forced to apologize to the House for making! Her decades long hunt for alleged systemic racists in Canada has been both relentless and fruitless! Though saying that about her probably qualifies ME as racist in her eyes!)
This time David Anderson, a Conservative MP from from Saskatchewan, would not have it any more. He approached Fry: “I am bit concerned and I don’t know if Mr Virani is deliberately doing this, but it amounts to bullying witnesses by using his time to lecture them when they have come here at their time and effort.”
Fry relented and gave Jasser one minute to respond, before cutting him off mid-sentence.
(LIE-berals do NOT want articulate and logical debate as that would embarrass them! Rather they want mildly worried citizens to sit meekly and quietly accept correction by their LIE-beral overlords!)
Monday also saw Balpreet Singh, representative of the World Sikh Organisation (WSO) claim that “opposition to M103 was based on anti-Muslim animus, not on logical and principled position”
Thank you, Mr. Singh, for basically assisting in the dirty work of Mullahs who have already designated Farzana Hassan, Ensaf Haider, Raif Badawi, Raheel Raza and, of course, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser and myself as apostates to Islam deserving of death.
(Balpreet Singh seems not to understand that Sikhs are also INFIDELS in the eyes of Muslims- and thus ALSO deserving of death if they refuse to accept Islam!)
