yes and yes

So not only do you want to impose your religious beliefs on every other person in this free country but you want to jail anyone who doesn't follow your beliefs.

Do you have any idea how much of a religious wing-nut that makes you.

I would be more inclined to agree if the call for an investigation came from within the medical community. But this isn't the case. The call is from people with an agenda that are on a witch hunt.
So?

IF/when an investigation is done and IF any infants were murdered who were 100% out of the womb then let charges fly.
So you think there should be an investigation?

Or nothing at all which is the likely outcome.
When lives are concerned, likely really shouldn't be in the measure.

Wouldn't you like your views and beliefs imposed upon everyone else in Canada?
His answer (which is predictable) should be OK with you, you have the same belief in forcing your beliefs on everyone else, lol.

The fact that the people asking are from the religious right-wing conservative ilk and would like to see a complete ban on abortion gives this request the appearance of the beginning of a couple of alternate agendas. The first being to punish people who have had legal abortions performed by professionals and the second being to start parliament down a slippery slope towards banning abortion entirely.
Conjecture.

Nope. We've seen what people with an agenda can and will do to other's rights.
Yes, yes we have.

Unfettered, unrestricted slaughter of life.

So not only do you want to impose your religious beliefs on every other person in this free country but you want to jail anyone who doesn't follow your beliefs.
Who knew you two had something in common.

Do you have any idea how much of a religious wing-nut that makes you.
You don't have to be religious to be a wing nut trying to force their beliefs on others.

Do you have any idea how much of a bigoted idiot this statement make you?
I doubt he does.

Northern Ontario,
The purpose of the investigation is simply to find out in which of those late term abortions did the baby come out alive and a doctor or nurse finished the job on a live birth....period!
Those arguing against that are simply ideologues looking for a cause. and trying to move the goal posts....

Other way around. Those pushing for an investigation are on a mission with zero evidence. Basically they are on a fishing trip with the goal of removing women's rights to terminate a pregnancy.

What a lovely debate, some people saying, "Killing a person is murder," and other people saying "These investigations are politically motivated."

Yes. Crushing the head of a breathing infant is murder. Nobody disagrees with that. Some might call it mercy, but the law of the land does not allow that.

Yes. The police should investigate murders. Nobody disagrees with that.

What evidence do they have that these abortions were murders? None, they are trying to get the RCMP to go on a fishing expedition. Anytime someone dies in a hospital, it could have been euthanasia, which would make it murder. Should there be an investigation? No. That is just inconsiderate overreach by the police. The correct investigation to take place in hospitals where there is no a priori evidence of wrongdoing is for the certification bodies to inspect the practice, not for the RCMP to go and make a mess of things. Imagine the tragedy that would occur in every family if the RCMP got involved every time grandpa or grandma died.

They have no such evidence of wrongdoing: the MPs have asked for a fishing expedition in the hopes of finding something to fuel their agenda in the abortion debate which is otherwise settled.

You couldn't fix a fuk in a *****house. All you can do is parrot the church dogma. Why is it that men think they should control what women do with their bodies?

That has got to be the funniest, and stupidest thing you have ever said.

I guess that is the reason behind this whole quandary that will never come to a concensus. It has a lot to do with what is more important, the container or the contents!

Why not pull all HIV and Hep C cases and see who was an IV user then bust them for drugs. There is a possibility they were dealing.

I don't see it that way. Give them equal importance. Should the container be prohibited from emptying the contents simply because the contents cannot develop otherwise?

Moving away from this analogy, give equal importance to men, women and embryos. Should a family be prohibited from having a child via in vitro fertilization because it will result in some embryos which will never develop into children?

The fact that we cannot make an embryo viable outside of the mother is a tragedy because of our lack of technology to transplant the embryo or otherwise develop it. The impotence of our technology should not be the defining characteristic of the ability of the woman to choose what is inside of her body.

How can one be pro life but against IVF? How can one declare that the destruction of embryos from abortion is murder but the destruction of embryos from IVF is not? It is a tragedy of our technical impotence, in the same way that it is a tragedy when a patient dies in surgery: there is nothing that we can do for them.

Investigate all the bona fide complaints if there are any.

Have any medical staff or patients who are the only ones with knowledge of possible crimes came forward with any complaints of wrong doing that merit investigation?

If yes, go nuts on those cases only.

If no, go to Hell.

If we let them go after the witches, you realize that the gnomes, faeries, elves, angels, leprechauns, demons, sprites, chupacabras and eskimos are next.
