i like reading the comments,as i read these comments,I cannot help wondering if the individuals writing these comments, see them as i see them.
i find a high amount of intolerance for just about anything on these forums, once again i wonder if i am on the right site.

I also question who has access to Canadian Content forums,
with the high amount of expressed intolerance,I am wondering why noone says anything, this makes me wonder who really has access to this forum, and to extend upon my weak curosities, I question why i have access to this forum, certainly i am not the only one who wonders why there is such a dominance of intolerance with little or no objections.
everything seems so controlled and scripted.

I'm a Canadian, just not one of those feminist bleeding hart kind.

Asking stupid questions might. Everyone knows many of the chiefs are corrupt. It is no different than any level of Canadian governments. So-called democracy breeds corruption and it is foreign to indigenous culture. It is a system imposed on them by the Indian Act. But all that is in the process of changing and when it does, you ain't seen nothin' yet. The grass roots are rising up against their own so called leaders and their power is growing. Their women were their natural leaders and I'm not talking about the corrupt apples that government has pushed into council positions. This summer will see radical changes in this country and most of you capitalist lackies are about to get a rude awakening.
So if the women are our aboriginal leaders why is it that so many are going missing ? And why are they going missing at the hands of male aboriginals ?

You know this for a fact? Or do you take Petros's word as gospel? If it were true, why is the government so afraid of holding an inquiry? And if true, why are the Indians demanding an inquiry?

Is that a general observation flossie? If i question my own people and call them out, i am a rascist? Hmmm, ok weirdo.
Or maybe, like Jews against Zionism have been accused of, you might be a self hating Indian.

There have been multiple inquiries by gvt and the RCMP... The results have always been the same.

What you are doing is dismissing those inquiries and shopping for an end result that you are prepared to accept.

I'm not accusing anybody of being self hating. I was making fun of those who say Jews against Zionism are self hating. Your views on indigenous people are your views and mine are mine. Both are based on our experiences of life and obviously, those experiences have been rather different. But using insults and name calling in an argument is a sign of a shaky position or insecurity.

Self hating hippy with an identity crisis.
I am proud to be a Hippie and just because I have an interest in social justice doesn't mean I have an identity crisis. I am a former catholic who happens to believe that the native spiritual view of reality holds more relevance than the church does. I doesn't mean that my spiritual views stop there. Your constant attempts to belittle me say more about you than anybody else. I'll pray for your redemption (Gerry's too).

No, I mean which native spiritual view? Please tell me you don't think there's just one, or even just a hundred.
There were about 2500 different cultures and languages. I studied Oglala and was indoctrinated into western Cree, but I take a more universal world view that includes Zen, metaphysics, parapsychology, quantum physics and mechanics and much more. They are my personal views and have no ascociation with any particular brand or dogma.

He believes in the one the hippy feminist bleeding harts high jacked for their own use.

Got no problem with you believing anything you want to believe. Just wondering because talking about "native spirituality" is about like talking about "Judeo-Christianity" as if Sufis and Quakers had much of anything in common.
