Dear Folks: Coulter doesn't speak for all Americans - not even a small percentage. As some of the posts here don't speak for all Canadians.
Often she goes beyond satire and has adopted her own style to make
tons of money - even porn stars have the same goals - both have the same
rights.
Yet not equal in Canada for her and she may have seen this as a challenge - I would rather be more proud of the Olympic representatives than Ann Coulter speaking up there - but she was invited.
Gave me a laugh that a "Conservative" group invited her...

Bullshyte....as has already been pointed out. Her ratings are sky high and her books are best sellers.

I don't see any rationalization for 'kicking her out of the country' or anything like that.
She's a wingnut, but she's not spouting what I consider hate speech. She's insulting and rude, but that's not illegal.
I think the U of Ottawa is cementing its image as a University full of idiots, who will only tolerate free speech if it follows the accepted program of enlightenment.
I wonder if the human rights commission investigated the university, would they have a valid complaint?

Opinion. Hubby says he's seen better looking strung out heroin addicts and I agree.
Ann Coulter is just a noob self-promoters who's figured out that if you say enough outrageous things, you'll get airtime on tv. She is a sideshow attraction. All she does is divert attention from the real players in the left/right dichotomy to herself and she's good at it. She's bizarre and mouthy; perfect for low-class tv entertainment. If she had some wit, she'd be a reasonable counter to the left's Sandra Bernhard, but she doesn't.
