What it amounts to is being the 2nd easiest route from the interior to the Pacific.

The oil export was never possible, having a twinned highway and a heavy rail line as well as high speed passenger rail along with a port designed for 21st century container ships would destroy a good portion of that business that is now based in Vancouver.

TMX was approved 3 times all the burdens were met at each approval, like your arguments, the court would interpret law and move the goal post and reset the decision for a new target to be met for a new approval.

It went to the Court of Appeal and was stopped.

The verdict was that the entire approval process was flawed

That's why it failed on appeal.

Meet the standards. Do the consultation. Do the science.

That's what the court said had to happen.
