Speaking of liars and morons who should shut the f*ck up.one the one hand you say we ship coal to China to'fuel their power plants" - and on the other hand you say you never mentioned thermal coal.
coal that is used to make electricity is called thermal coal.
we don't even export that sort of coal outside of American thermal coal that now goes through Canada because no American port wants to touch the shit.
none of it goes to China.
so in future when you feel compelled to say something about something maybe just stfu

The Canadian coal industry produces coal for use in metallurgical applications (e.g., coking or steelmaking) and thermal applications (e.g., electricity generation).
About 7% of Canada's coal exports are thermal coal. (That's around 2 million tons) Maybe YOU should get a clue about what you're talking about instead of whining about someone lying while you lie away without a care in the world. Which is pretty much your M.O. anyway. And by the way, much of that thermal coal IS shipped to China.
As for your crap about US coal, BC makes money from that. BC is the point of shipment for 80% of all of Canada's coal exports as well. BC also produces 41% of Canada's coal, although the vast bulk of it is metallurgical. And it's not a case of "no American port wants that shit" (thermal coal). It's case of a bunch of granola munchers in Washington, Oregon and California blocking shipments of coal from Montana and Wyoming. There's no shortage of thermal coal arriving at ports in the South and along the Eastern Seaboard.
It's also funny how the BC granola munchers don't protest the US coal shipments to BC like they do with Canadian oil.
