Pre-Christian and pre-Muslim religions are all based upon the laws of the Universe, human potential and natural forces and phenomena that actually exist in this world and can be seen and touched.
Touched Zeus and Thor lately, have you? Pre-Christian and pre-Muslim religions are no more or less superstitious nonsense than Christianity and Islam.

So you are saying this Orion guy is pointing off a little? Do fictional guys named Orion always point in straight lines or is it vague?
Not just a little, he's off by about a sixth of the circumference of the horizon. Besides, what kind of loon points with his belt anyway?

How many of these gods do you believe in? Do they all point?
Absolutely none, and no. Only the ones that exist can point. Somehow I get the impression you're not taking this thread as seriously as some might like.

Am I the only one who's noticed that Adam's hung like a gerbil in that picture? It's from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, isn't it?

I've watched all the Zeitgeist movies and only the first half of the first movie impressed me.

The latest effort (Zeitgeist III) was so full of fallacy I only made it through the first 10 min or so before turning it off - complete crap and rubbish IMO.

.If you'd like to discuss how the Scorpio's tail and Aries arrow point to galactic center which went quasar some 13,000 years ago. We'll take about the ice cores, mass extinction, and a blast wave of energy intense engough to rattle the DNA of a plethora of surface species and blast the atmoshere off part of the planet freezing Siberia solid in 5 hours.

If we both lived back in that day when a giant blue eye filled the sky for 300 years and shook the **** out of earth causing volcanos and tidalwaves ending an ice age that caused global floods yeah maybe I would believe that big blue might be god getting angry.

The myth sure sounds like it was a terrible time when you compare to reality of what the earth and entire galaxy went through in the scientific evidence. I'm glad I know better on how to seperate the reality from the myth with physical evidence. I have the geolologic record to tell me what happened and when and the chemical traces to say how it happened.

You have evidence that this happened?
