So Dion has officially announced his resignation. Thoughts?
Personally, I thought he was a poor leader. At the same time, however, I'm not sure if the blame could be squarely put on his shoulders when a big part of the problem is the Liberal platform. (Carbon tax, corporate tax cuts, ambiguities on Afghanistan and continually missing in opposing Harper's government).
I don't know who'll be bidding for leadership next. I'd like to see Michael Ignatieff take a swing at it. I don't know why Bob Rae is still around in his political scene. Anyone still remember when he was an NDPer and slamming the Liberals? Remember when he was pooping on Ontario when he was the Premier? And now that Dion is down, he's taking a few kicks at him too. And don't forget he's an active member of the Jewish National Funds.
Anyway, appreciate your thoughts on Dion and Liberals' future.
