This can't be happening. If shyte like this continues, what are they going to whine about?

VANCOUVER - Three pieces of federal government land are slated for redevelopment following a $307-million deal between three First Nations and the Canada Lands Company.
The federal Crown corporation and the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations will be 50-50 owners in the development of the former federal properties, encompassing a total of 80 acres.
The sites are currently a "blank slate" with no preconceived plans, the CLC said in a statement Wednesday. "Extensive" public consultation is expected to begin next year. The developments will be subject to city bylaws and zoning requirements.
The partnership is billed as "historic," representing an opportunity for the federal government and First Nations communities to work together.
Terms of the partnership give the three First Nations a 28% interest whatever business arrangements and economic development result from the lands; the First Nations bought an additional 22% interest from CLC.
The three sites include the 21-hectare Jericho Lands formerly owned by the Department of National Defence in Vancouver's West Point Grey neighbourhood, an 8.5-hectare former Public Works and Government Services Canada property and a two-hectare former Department of Fisheries and Oceans property.
The CLC is an arm's-length agency that buys surplus federal government property to redevelop and manage or sell.
Vancouver Point Grey MLA David Eby called the deal "a remarkable opportunity for a form of reconciliation and increased understanding between First Nations and non-First Nations communities in Vancouver."

Many Aboriginal tribes in BC were rich in the past and some like the Capilano never lost that wealth-this latest development shows what can happen with education.

Of course there'll be a certain amount of jealousy mostly from poor uneducated whites living in tar paper shacks but some from other Abos too.
