That search box in metro is the only way I could find anything at all. It is touch screen so it will be the standard for some time
I use Firefox with the adblock addons, no ads even on youtube or anyplace else.

I've been using my Acer Aspire E15 with Windows 8.1 and I don't see any problems on using it. I prefer using Windows 8.1 rather than Windows 10.
