Will the Liberals return as the Natural Governing Party?

Well, they were out from 2006 to 2015, and, if they win tomorrow, they would just have been out for 9 years, the way Mulroney put them out for 9 years.

I thought they were done for, until Harper revived them with his attitude and policies.

I hope not. I hate the very idea of ANYONE being christened a "Natural Governing Party", as it denotes a right to govern, which no party should have.

I'd rather see Harper return as a struggling minority government than see the liberals return. Imo the liberal party has not reached that humbling turning point that we wanted them to see when we first voted them out of power.

Is the Harper regime finally done with it's near decade of ruinous policies and criminal activities? We can only pray.

You mean the scandal where they are accused of paying back 80K of tax payer money? Clearly you do not realized that the gov still has not been able to recover over 49 million from the liberal adscam scandal.

If Justin Trudea form government, my first question will be "Mr Prime Minister, would you please orchastrate another PMO scandal by secretly returning 49 million dollars of tax payer money?"

I'd rather a coalition than the non-government of a Harper minority

The harper minority gov was the hardest and most successful minority government in the history of canada.

Connotes, not denotes. Just sayin'. Otherwise, agree 100%

That is very con-scientious of you.

No I don't think the Liberals will return as the Natural Governing Party but
tomorrow they will return. Politics won't see long running dynasties for a
while and that is a good thing. Want to be the ruling party? Earn it.
We have a government that did not read the people and they are going to
pay for it just like the Liberals did before. It is also the last chance for the
two parties if this government of Trudeau fails the people will try the NDP.

All parties are capitalist so they're criminal by definition, at least the liberal party isn't a bunch of ridiculous Islamophobes.

I am willing to compromise. You return the 49 million dollars, and I'll support you in condemning the 80K. I'll even throw in a few islamophobe shouts for you.

Pulease....Why didn't Harper immediately return the 49 million dollars you claim was bilked from the Provinces as soon as he got into office?? Instead it got spent mostly on expensive war equipment!! Not only did he not return it to the Provinces, but drove us into 4 years of deficit spending. Then he held back on what should have normally been given to the Provinces for medicare, and other programs in order to create a non-existent surplus for election time. Bahh ... now after all this war on drugs etc. he hooks up with the Ford family for a final hurrah. There are none so blind as those who will NOT SEE.

I realize all politicians as control freaks but my Gawd, Harper is very close to completely destroying our democracy and installing himself as dictator.

You want to talk about dictatorship? Then look back at all the policies and laws the Liberals crammed down our throats during their reign. It would take all day to list all the things they did against the will of the majority of Canadians.
God help us if the Liberals get any power again! They still retain that arrogant sense of entitlement.
I don't like the NDP but I would prefer them to the Liberals any day!
