Ghazala Khan, mother of slain Muslim soldier, says Trump 'ignorant' about Islam

"When Donald Trump is talking about Islam, he is ignorant," she wrote in a Washington Post opinion piece appearing online Sunday. "Donald Trump said he has made a lot of sacrifices. He doesn't know what the word sacrifice means."

Her husband, Khizr Khan, also weighed in after Trump's response. He said he appreciates that Trump called his son a hero, but he finds the Republican presidential nominee "disingenuous" because of his policies and his rhetoric.

You know what's sad about this? Two parties of established political elite who don't give a flying rat's a$$ about any soldiers, living, dead, veterans or currently serving, are suddenly all patriotic and love our soldiers and blah, blah blah.

Hillary supported the war in Iraq until it became highly unpopular. She then jumped ship and fully supported pulling completely out, which would ultimately make the young Mr Khan's sacrifice completely pointless.

Hillary doesn't care who gets hurt or killed, as long as she can exploit it for her personal and/or political gain. It's no wonder Analfloss loves her so much, he's demonstrated more than once that he thinks people being killed is funny.

Even Hugh Hewitt said there are 6000 of these families from the Iraq/Afghan wars and civilians should respect how they feel. Not argue with them. That goes for everyone including Hillary who took flak for a recent response of her own. Between this, Trump calling McCain a failure for being a POW etc.. Trump is obviously a dumb belligerant arsehole. The only demographic left for him to attack are farm accident amputees. Another week or two and he'll have them covered.

House Republican Backs Hillary Clinton, Calling Donald Trump ‘Unfit to Serve’

Representative Richard Hanna, Republican of New York, broke ranks with his party to endorse Hillary Clinton for president on Tuesday, denouncing Donald J. Trump’s attacks on the Muslim parents of a soldier killed in Iraq and calling Mr. Trump “unfit to serve.”

Mr. Hanna has long said he would not support Mr. Trump in the general election. By throwing his support to Mrs. Clinton, he becomes the first Republican member of Congress to go beyond disavowing Mr. Trump, and join forces with the Democrats against him.

Mr. Hanna announced his plans in an interview and opinion column on Syracuse.com. He cited Mr. Trump’s disrespectful comments about the soldier’s parents, Khizr and Ghazala Khan, among the reasons for his defection.

“I was stunned by the callousness of his comments,” Mr. Hanna said. “I think Trump is a national embarrassment. Is he really the guy you want to have the nuclear codes?”

Mr. Hanna said he disagreed with Mrs. Clinton on “many issues,” but would vote for her anyway. “She stands and has stood for causes bigger than herself for a lifetime,” he said. “That matters.”

This guy, Khizr Khan, was given a podium to eviscerate Trump's character.. and used his fallen son shamelessly to make his case. In fact he deemed his son's sacrifice sufficient to make him above rebuttal.. and media establishment and the Republican establishment has essentially granted Khan that immunity on the fact and intent of his speech.

You can talk to the victims of Islamic terror in the U.S... in San Bernadino, Orlando, Boston, Fort Hood.. NYC.. to realize this terror in the past 2 decades in the America and West.. has come almost exclusively from radical insurgent Islam.. an entity the Democratic establishment refuses to even recognize.

Or you can talk to the thousands of American KiA (including Capt. Humayun Khan) and wounded fighting the insurgency around the globe. Apparently their sacrifice has no standing, in Trump's committment to vetting immigrants as security risks before allowing entry. That is entirely constitutional and nothing new for America.

But the Press has decided to fabricate an insult to the Khan family where none was given, read the texts of both the DNC presentation and Trump's response. But one was taken.. for purely political purposes.

Trump's weekly 'outrage'.. utterly destroying his credibility and prospects for election. But nothing sticks.. He barrels on.

Apparently he's propelled by a raw wire of political energy.. TRADE.. and Clinton is inextricably linked with the Free Trade establishment. Nothing will free her from it. With Trade comes discussion of borders, industrial and national integrity, priorities in domestic and foreign policy.

All of that is now run on an orthodoxy deemed beyond criticism in this utopian, 'end of history', free market, post faith, morally relativistic, radically individualistic and borderless world.. even as it crashes and burns around us.

Trump will almost surely win. Clinton's candidacy is floating of a propellerless, rusted out, sinking ship.

Terrorism has a political or religious motives.. it is rationally derived and targeted. You are using examples of mass murderers with severe paranoia and psychosis as instigating factors. That' not terrorism.. it's severe mental illlness... AND their free access to weaponry.
