I was wondering, what are some cool things to do in Canada? I will be in London Ontario Canada.
Kinda depends on your definition of "cool".

London is pretty much in the middle of Southwestern Ontario, so if you can't find anything too exciting in town, you maybe can nearby.

Well, what we Candians normally do all day is work hard for little money and then give most of it to the government. We do however, after working 10-12 hours enjoy using the pittance left in our pockets to enrich the lives of those wonderful CEOs that have a great relationship with our Prime Minister and his buddies in Ottawa.

Hope you enjoy your visit.

Well, I meant, bars, resturaunts, sites, etc. I'm 23 so my definition of cool is different from that of someone who isn't considered an adult. Also, I'm a photographer! It's been a long dream of mine to go to Canada. It looks just beautiful. I'm somewhat of a "wanna-be Canadian" to my friends standards.

All jokes aside, the 'cottage country' in Ontario is nice, lots of pretty lakes and stuff, so is the Thousand Island region of the St Lawrence, but if you really want to see the beauty in Canada you should have come to BC. Vancouver Island is God's little corner of North America.

Well, I'm a little older than you are (actually almost twice as old) but I do live in London. There are a few clubs/bars/restaurants on Richmond St downtown, but I can't comment on them personally (my clubbing days are behind me).

I will agree that it is indeed a beautiful country. If you have the means to some driving (within 1 to 2 hours) there's a lot of the beauty to be seen. Niagara is only about 1 1/2 hours away. We're about 45 min to an hour away from three of the five great lakes. Toronto is about 2 hours away. London itself is not really a "tourist" kind of town, but there are some areas along the Thames (Springbank Park) that are beautiful. I'm sort of assuming here that since you mentioned the beauty of the country and photography, that's the kind of thing you're looking for.

Hope I'm not making it sound too boring, lol. We do have a major university and a college so I'm quite sure there will be something offered in town that you'll find appealing.

Screw a hooker? That's pretty much the only thing Canada has on the United States and even then we can't do that right. Like everything else in the country, you can expect to pay 3-5 more than in the United States or even in Europe.

Not a good place to live if you are a first world working or middle class individual but it's definately great if you are a Chinese multi-millionaire. Ironically; despite our open borders, the only people insane to come here are those from Hong Kong.

The one redeeming quality is a beautiful interior but you wouldn't see that from a closet in Vancouver or Toronto. Best way to see Canada is a road trip from Vancouver to St. John. Probably the only way to see the real Canada as otherwise Vancouver and Toronto and many of our cities have become giant Hotels for the international community.

There are about 2 million Canadian expats and the number is increasing.

Bars etc. are whatever, Canadian or otherwise. Hopefully Canada has more to offer than that.
