sandy broke her small toe in the Bay...bunch of stuff fell off the shelf..pots....think i figured out how to speed up the hospitol gig.....grumble in ear shot of the staff that checks you into the emerg....how filthy the place is....then start talking about your worried that it is so filthy.....then start talking about how it's suppossed to be a hospitol......last time with mom 11 and half hours.....this time with sandy....2 hours and 10 minutes......

The quickest way to get through a hospital emergency room is, quite simply, to make sure you're hurt worse than everyone else there. It's a snap! lol.

When hubby put a drill bit through his hand... in like a snap.

When I got knocked out cold at 7 months pregnant... in like a snap.

When my son fell 5 feet and landed on the back of his head causing a concussion that required hospitalization... in like a snap.

Just follow those simple instructions, and you'll be laughing! Well, okay, maybe not laughing, but you'll get quick service!

yeah right Karrie....not in missiassauga anyways.....

nope it's rant about the filth of the place..and im serious...i did do that ....

Youch! Looks like Sandy will be propped up on the couch and Doc will be Mr. Step 'n Fetch It. Hee hee ... tell Sandy to take FULL advantage. You know, Doc, sometimes it takes months for those toes to heal enough to do dishes, vacuuming, etc. ;)

Un fortunately, Doc, Cosmo IS right, even though she was trying to be funny.

Because of Sandy's condition, take whatever amount of time the doctors said it would take to heal, and double, even triple it. Plus, she'll be more prone to nerve memory from the break, so make sure she REALLY babies it, and keeps her pain killers topped up well. These kinds of little things can cause catastrophic flare ups.

Don't shout... geez... men! Make her a pot of tea, or some hot chocolate, or whatever will most likely tempt her to relax, and set her down in front of a few good movies.

Doc

Better get some pretty lounging outfits for her too..... she doesn't want to be lying around in her good outfits - something smooth and silky to be comfortable and pretty at the same time.....

Rest is the best..... absolutely no housework!! Especially no cooking or washing!

And you better get some outfits for yourself as well, Dave.

Here's one...
. Plus, don't forget the bowtie!
It comes in many colours!

You probably won't ever want to stop cleaning!

Er...you can take that stupid bowtie off now, Dave.

Actually, I've had this one site full of smilies for a while. It sometimes just requires the "right" post for me to go hog-wild with smilies.

I once created a short story on another forum with smilies as prop pieces. However, there was a limit of 8 smilies per post, so that hindered it a tad. Maybe I'll make one for CC?;-)

hahah Shadow, reminds me of something that happened a few years ago when I was a regular on another forum. I spilled coffee on my keyboard, and lost the use of it for a few days until it dried out. In the meantime, all I could do was use smilies to communicate - I think it took about a half a day for my buds to decipher what the heck was wrong, but somehow I eventually managed to convey my problem - but not without a few token jokes to the effect of "What's that Timmy? Zan's fallen down a well and needs our help?"

hmmm that might be a 'had to be there' story, but it still makes me laugh.

and ermmm ahem... I do hope you know that once you've posted your smilies, I'll shamelessly poach them!

btw, a smilie story sounds fun - you could do a never ending story, that folks could add onto with their smilies..... ;-)
