Yes, we all know that only lefties have education.

How else could you believe in, and force onto other people, such a stupid ideology if you weren’t "educated" ?

"Yeah, they have, haven't they? The CBC is now going after the Liberals because they are in power. See how that works?"

No sorry sir, they don't seem to talk much about the Ontario Liberals.

Wait till the next election, the Tories will win and the CBC will be at it again, and I will put up with it for awhile, and then I will turn the station again for awhile. That’s how it works.

To side with Jay, . They have gotta be the worst provincial government we've had in a long time (a part from Bob Rae), and to see how much bashing there was of the PC party who did exactly what they said they would pre-election.

The liberals got in, lied their way to legislation and even Dalton McGuinty has made very questionable admissions and comments.

Example:

Q: Why would you cut more from healthcare, considering your party's position on PC policies, Mr. McGuinty?

A: Because I can. I lied in my election promises and this is better for business.

(Vague translation of the things he says).

Thanks Andem for the support. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the way things are here in Ontario.

Andem said:
I wish there were more people out bashing the Ontario provincial liberals

Although the silence is deafening...remember when Harris was running for his second term, and all the noise the left was making, I was sure we were going to loose that election. We didn't because it seems the right in Ontario keeps to itself until voting day. The silent majority I think they call it.

First of all, I have high school and a bit of photography for an education, so you can drop the anti-intellectual crap, Jay.

Second of all I said
level and fields of education
. That sentence is written at about a grade eight level so even you should be able to understand that "fields" is as important as "levels".

Third of all, I doubt there are many public boards where the levels and fields of education, and the resulting discussion, is as high as it as Rabble.

It is your ideology that celebrates stupidity, Jay. You hate intelligence and education and are terrified of the little facts that make up reality. Your hero, Mike Harris, put a high school drop-out in charge of education. Where is the common sense in that?

Reverend Blair said:
Why do you keep saying "feminazi", Mediana? It isn;t accurate and makes you sound like you worship a man who has been shown to be a lying junkie.

Feminazi is as feminazi does.

Reverend Blair said:
You aren't going to agree with everything on CBC. That's not going to happen because it is doubtful that you agree with everybody in Canada. Besides, if you at the relationship between a fetus and a woman, it is a parsitical relationship.

Babies, Blair. Babies. The feminazi slur was against your normal everyday variety of live born baby -- not fetuses.

Besides, there is no scientific, biological basis for the claim that fetuses are parasites. It is the woman's own body which instigates, creates, nurtures and protects the new life. Do you not know for what is the function of the womb? A parasite takes over the function of a process intended for another purpose. The womb doesn't have any purpose other than the creation of new life. Thus no parasitism.

Back to the topic of babies and leftist bias within the CBC.

Babies are not parasites and the CBC ought to know better than to allow a sick hateful individual to propagate contemptuous feminazi propaganda against the most vulnerable members of society on public radio.

But they have David Frum on all the time, even let him host the morning show for 3-1/2 hours one day, and he's a nazi of a stripe you are more comfortable with, Mediana. They put Stephen Harper on camera and let him speak even though the sight of the little bastard makes me want to puke.

If you are unwilling to accept that a national broadcaster is going to present a variety of views, some that you are not going to agree with, then I suggest that you move to a country without a national broadcaster.

Medinia say:
You're missing the point. Why should I switch stations when my taxes are paying it?

Peapod says:
Why should I pay taxes for schools, I don't have any childern.
Medinia says
Children are supposed to be our most cherished possessions in life... to have them degraded in such manner on a publicly funded radio program is disgusting.

Peapod says:
If you think that is bad, you otta see what they are doing to them over in Africa.

Take the exact same set of circustances but instead of a feminazi substitute her with a neo-nazi and likewise have it that jews instead of a baby are being called parasites... and tell me again the solution to my revulsion is to simply change the station.

Man, dude you are a nasty piece of work, I can feel your poison across the cyberspace. Go outside, take a deep breath and look around, it may humble you. Ehm..guess I had a fine day 8)

And yes I do understand perfectly your anger, disquist, and outrage about what she said....because that is exactly the same feelings I have when I see people trying to vilify homosexuals.

So think about how you feel about what she said, multipy it by a thousand and you will know how peapod feels..

We will never agree, however you see me, I see you exactly the same way...how about mentioning a program on the CBC that you did like.

Because you will need an educated workforce emerging from those same schools to pay for your government pension when you're old and decrepid.

One doesn't justify the other. Both are bad.

Nasty? What is so nasty about defending the rights and dignity of children?

Geez, don't have a calf. You're jumping to the wrong conclusion. The feminazi on the radio wasn't a bull dyke, nor was it ever my intention to suggest she was.

Frum is jewish.

So?

But does he call babies parasites?

Only if they are poor or from the east coast.

...or contact the CBC office of the Ombudsman.

He'll tell you that the CBC is there to present a variety of views.

Because you will need an educated workforce emerging from those same schools to pay for your government pension when you're old and decrepid.

And if we want them to be intelligent enough to think for themselves, we should make sure the listen to the CBC so that they hear a variety of views instead of just the narrow-minded gibberish that comes from the far right.

Peapod says
Well than you should not be offended by myself using the the clinical word "calf" I work with seniors "decrepid" is not how I view them, anymore than you view childbirth as calfing. And I depend on the CBC to give me a wonderful picture of the people and places in this great country. Plus their humor is Outstanding!

Medinia says

That is exactly what I am telling you to do. I hear and see things all the time that offends me, you can either walk away, or move on, they tell me this is the kind of thing you have to put up with in a free society

Medinia says

Peapod says:
Why? Am I to assume that I now have to express myself and write the way you tell me to? I use to get very good marks in school for writing in the third person :p

medinia says:
Quirks and Quarks. They don't have contempt for reproductive biology and they never have idiots for guests.

Well thanks! That is a good show. I love sad goat. I especially like talk back...all those wonderful messages from my fellow canadians.

Nobody ever got an MBA from listening to the CBC. The CBC doesn't dispence degrees.

Yes I am. I 've said nothing wrong.

He'll likely manage to keep a straight face until he hangs up the phone. You've cited no examples of hate speech.

Huge difference between informed and intelligent and educated, Mediana.

My ideology celebrates freedom. If stupidity is among the free then so be it. BS I hate intelligence, or education, and we are only terrified of what would happen when the left finally does away with elections and private property, because who likes war. I never said Mike Harris is/was my hero. I did vote for Harris, as did many. I would do it again too, and I doubt you could understand why.

Where is the common sense in having John Snobolin the education minister? Perhaps it was something to do with the massive union of teachers in this province, who consistently forget they work for parents and the provincial government. We needed to do something about it. I had the pleasure of having attended a party where the head of the English dept from my wife’s school was there. He commented to my wife how Harris had the set teacher’s federation back and it would take some time for them to recover. It was hard to not smile. BTW John Snobolin didn't need crappy public education; he is a self made million heir. He will pay more in taxes than your province does.

Ahhhhh and so there it is. Someone completely out of touch. Many people get their MBA medinia in a unconventional way :p I have met many a "educated" person who had no idea how to live or relate to this world. These types, intelligent and educated are the worst of the worst. They have been given a "gift" but instead of having humility, therefore allowing others to learn from them, they use there gift to look down on others, they hord their knowledge and gift, like a greedy dickens character. Pffffffff..

Its to bad that you and a few others cannot talk about anything else except your political agenda. You drag it into every thread, from smelling new born babies in the game thread to thrashing the CBC.

You look for the political in "everything" how sad for you all. I do not listen to the cbc for politics. I listen to the CBC, well kristina
Munroe, a young women who fought back hodgkins disease and gave birth to Ben longshot Munroe-Mcfee.
Chis Czajkowski, who built her own log cabin in the wilds of this province, british columbia.
Mark a young labor historian who's thoughts and adventures many followed from Vancouver to St. Johns.
Donna Martin, a alberta mother and writer whose blindness seems to open new horizons for her.
I have the rice pudding receipe of Margaret Pointing from Mississuaga ontario, even tho I do not know her. I could go on about a million things, but what would be the point, you do not see, even with all the degrees on your wall.

Thank you conservatives for completely missing the idea of this thread and dragging into the same "zealot" rant. Thats the trouble with zealots, completely closed minds. Pity.
