"Why do we as people drool over Celebrities?" I'd say that's not quite the right question. It's as apes that we drool over celebrities, because it makes good evolutionary sense in terms of survival and reproductive chances to be obsequious towards high status members of the group.
So, Angelina whatshername adopting a Cambodian kid is important to the survival of our species?
Same for Elin and Tiger Woods' divorce? Or what Julia Roberts wore to the last Oscar? lol

i dont care for many celebreties but i sure as hell respect Alan Jackson, he is the ****ing man...

I would kill to meet the guy, you know have a few beers, shake his hand, and talk about life.... That guy is down to earth in his interviews, songs, great role model...

How many of your metal bands or rap posse's make music for the working man?

Be honest to your self, what does a multi millionaire country singer have in common with you? He's just as plastic at Brittney & the rest.

I agree with TenPenny, watching a human train wreck can be quite satisfying.

I hear you man, but his songs really speak to me... I agree that celebrities are jokes, but alan is the man. He may be a multi million air but he does a good job at keeping to his roots even though he lives in hollywood.

Check out his music video for country boy, he took home footage of regular folk and used that. And for his next new song "Hard hat and a hammer" he is asking for more home videos of working people to make the music video with. That to me says alot about him. He is the only celebrity i respect and i would really like to meet him... His small town souther man video he has a giant wedding in his video of people dancing and being happy. His living on love video he shows a picture of his grandparents.... The guy is way more down to earth than some clown like george clooney, in my opinion
