Bourbon is okay, Scotch is okay. Single malts are awesome ... I like Barbaric ones like Talisker. The very best whiskey though, is distilled by the Irish.

I found this weird anomaly in BC. In the government liquor stores, they sell - or at least they were a few months ago - Booker's Bourbon....they are selling this in BC at a price cheaper than I can buy it here in the States.
People here don't drink Bourbon much they profess to like the stuff but it just doesn't sell that well if people want something sweeter than Rye they go for Rum not Bourbon.

The best whisky in the world is an English whisky. Or it was just a year or so ago.

An English champagne was also fairly recently voted the best in the world.

The English have loved beating the Scots and French at their own game.

Gibsons is pretty good and ive never thought it as a poor whiskey. For rye, wisers special blend is a pretty good bet in my opinion. Royal Reserve makes good for a mickey with that sticker, so that means Canadian Whiskeys for the win boooyah!!!
