If we negotiate a better deal with Britain, we make even more but you don't because you have nothing we want or need to buy.
No we are tied up with nafta and George hates it . Hates that we have anything to do with America , and the useless sod even thinks his sh-t doesn’t stink .

NAFTA is dead, pigs. Trump pulled the plug on it and only Mexico has ratified it's ridiculous replacement.
Trump didn't get his artful deal through. It remains to be seen how long the real, original NAFTA soldiers on before it's official expiry. We may very well end up 0without a free trade zone in North America due to Trump's incompetence.
And the same with us too.
In fact, because you need us more than we need you, we'll hold the best cards in any negotiations.

And why would Canada and other countries want to stop selling things to Britain? That would be like a shopkeeper saying to customers "I don't want you to buy anything from my shop, so **** off."
But as I've already pointed out, if Canada wants to stop trading with Britain for some bizarre reason then go ahead, make our day: Remember, you sell more to us than we sell to you.

The Americans and Canadians both are selling, not buying. Britain will buy, buy, buy but has little to sell.
That is not the high road to British prosperity.

In fact, Britain has a trade surplus with the world outside the EU and has a trade deficit with the EU.
Most countries Britain sells more to than buys from.
Take away the EU and Britain has a trade surplus.
