Yes ITN it is always about theft of resources, the terrorism thing is just funny.

OK, show me how the US has stolen the natural resources of Afghanistan, and I would thank you to remember the people that have died at the hands of cowards, I don't think it is funny at all.

China would like some oil yes, and the USA would like to control the supply and price of that oil.

It's a gas pipeline.Give me a G, give me an A, give me an S. It isn't oil. And I was responding to aeons post that claimed this whole war was about China getting oil.

Rather than still trying to recover from the collapse of the Soviet Union they are really still trying to recover from the World Bank.

The asphyxiating oppressive fascist communist state is what they are trying to recover from.

Karsi is an American puppet Afghans voted for democracy when they don't even know what it is and they can't read anything to find out independently what it might be.

Nearly 8 out of 10 million Afghans voted under international monitors which includes your benevolent United Nations. I would say the numbers make claim to knowing what democracy is, and if I may be frank, that is rather presumptious of you to believe you know what democracy is and the Afghans don't!

The right can never make use of the truth because it condemns them everytime.

There are always two sides of the story, neither of them are true and neither of them are false.

RE: Why are we in Afghani

Again, it ain't for any "national interests", that's why the situation is so dangerous, 99.9% of the human race doens't even enter into the calculations...

After all, how would Wal-Mart be able to do what it's doing without China being a manufacturing force (with really spotty labour laws, to boot)????

Is a strong Wal MArt in the US's "interests"??? I would say YES, but to the average US citizen it is a sentence to the poorhouse..... so even tho the company is doing a great job "boosting the economy", it is at the same time, in fact, actually GUTTING the very economy it's supposed to be good for....

Just because it's a natural gas pipeline to China, don't think it ain't gonna make a select few folks even more filthy rich than they already are, and the "geostrategic" dynamics are just icing on the cake (and it makes the package so much sweeter and easier for the masses to eat, too, and they LOVE it)

It is a market correction.... if you want to sell crap products for more money, be my guest.
