IMO the thread should have used 'still' rather than 'again' as that leaves hope they stopped at some point in the past. No record of it that I can find. Probably buried beside the 'Warsaw Memos' and those won't be on the book-stands any time soon.

Calgary Herald faces fallout over commentary defending Brett Kavanaugh

An editorial is, by design, an opinion. But on Wednesday, one Calgary Herald columnist's article sparked a conversation about just how far free speech should go.
The column centred around sexual misconduct allegations levelled against U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh ahead of his confirmation hearings. Christine Blasey Ford is one of Kavanaugh's accusers. The woman says that in the early 1980s, a drunken Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and groped her at a gathering of friends when they were teens.
(The first mistake made by The Herald was in accurately reporting the nature of the alleged crime! Being groped is far less serious than a rape but Feminazis do NOT want us thinking in such logical terms!)
The author of the Herald article, Naomi Lakritz, wrote 'Kavanaugh doesn't deserve this."
(I am forced to agree! Initial news reports implied that Ford had been savagely attacked- rather than simply having her ass grabbed- a distinction LIE-berals have never really admitted! But it is hard for LIE-berals to whip up an unreasoning lynch mob over a minor offense that cannot even be proven to have occurred!)
(This is not to say that women do not have the right to say NO- merely that there needs to be some SOLD PROOF before you go trying to ruin some guys life!)
(In addition, our legal system measures degrees of criminal behaviour and this ALLEGED and UNPROVEN ass grab is not the stuff of R-rated slasher and horror movies! And thus far- the allegations against Kavanaugh are nothing but an unproven SMEAR that does NOT PASS ANY POLITICAL SMELL TEST!)
"What happened in high school stays in high school," she wrote. Lakritz went on to write "we're witnessing a contemporary equivalent of the Salem witch trials and Brett Kavanaugh is very likely to get burned at the stake, whether the 53-year-old U.S. Supreme Court nominee is innocent or guilty."
(Yes- typically short sighted LIE-berals who NEVER DO any long term planning- were so focussed on smearing Kavanaugh and his boss Trump that they never bothered considering what effect a successful smear would have on his career! How could Kavanaugh go back to his old job as judge if he had a criminal label hung on him! So the LIE-beral smear was not just about Kavanaugh being promoted to Supreme Court- it was an effort to destroy his entire career and his life!)
Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh's friend, says he'll cooperate with the investigation.
(Well OF COURSE! An allegation of criminal wrong doing has been made- not to cooperate would be WRONG! The problem is that apparently NOBODY SAW ANYTHING!)
(And of course there is DOUBT on two counts- firstly DID Ford really get groped or is this a wildly out of control political STUNT? Secondly- Ford has testified that she was passing in and out of consciousness while being groped! Can we be sure that she has blamed the right men? All this LIE-beral political hysteria runs into the same UTTER LACK of evidence!)
(And to destroy a man on the basis of unproven allegations made by a woman who is possibly in the pay of LIE-berals who we KNOW are desperate to injure the Trump administration is ALSO WRONG! Not that LIE-berals will admit any of this! Though they WILL BITCH about being called LIE-berals- EVEN AFTER the FBI investigation into Kavanaugh is judged INCONCLUSIVE due to lack of evidence!)
(If FBI actually comes up with some hard facts then fine- the discussion can resume- but at this time LIE-berals have NOTHING honest or proven to say! But that applies to virtually all their policies anyway!)
(That LIE-berals would condemn The Calgary Herald for simply reporting honest facts about a high profile case casts LIE-berals in a dangerously bigoted and dictatorial light! How can we trust people who will create their own version of Salem Witch Trials or imitate the Soviet Show Trials that condemned political enemies to hard labour?? LIE-berals have demonstrated yet again that they are to corrupt to lead us and too stupid and arrogant to be followers!)
